A worthwhile adventure for those who love nature! - Great experience exploring the beautiful Corcovado National Park. After an exciting boat ride including some dolphins, our guides welcomed us to a scenic and lively beach to begin our jungle hike, taking time to find and show us plenty of wildlife along the way as we trekked further up into the trees. Lunch on the beach was lovely before getting back on the boat to head a short distance to a secondary, and flatter, area to explore some more before another lively boat ride back to Marino Ballena where we could enjoy some more beach time in the park. Fun, knowledgeable and helpful guides made for a great adventure in a beautiful setting.

Lots of Wildlife, Maybe Not in National Park - We saw plenty of amazing wildlife, and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was pretty good, but not as good as other tours I’ve been on. Also, when we finished the hike, some proprietors of an adjacent lodge came out to yell at us saying we were trespassing—this isn’t true because all beaches in Costa Rica are public (even the four seasons can’t keep the public off their beaches legally), but this woman pointed out that our hike was not through Corcovado National Park. If it’s important to you that part of your ticket goes to national park permits for conservation, then this might not be the tour for you. We definitely saw a ton of wildlife, so we were happy, but something to keep in mind!

Glad I went, but didn’t quite meet expectations - I’ll start off by saying that I am glad we went and we did see some animals but there are some things I think could be improved to manage expectations and make it a more enjoyable experience. Firstly we booked this through our hotel and the day before we were due to go our host informed us that the operator had called him to say that unfortunately we didn’t get tickets to the national park. Understand that this is a risk but unfortunately we weren’t aware of it. This could have been lost in the communication somewhere but our host said he also didn’t know that this could happen. We were given the option to go ahead with the tour visiting just outside the national park or cancel for a full refund. Given that this was less than 24 hours notice and we were leaving the area the following day, we decided to go ahead. Breakfast and the boat trip across were nice though we went too quickly in the boat to see any marine animals. However when we arrived the captain struggled to land the boat, and had to go to a bay further away. This took a bit of time and also the first part of the trail we had to do due to landing further away was really hard, more climbing than hiking. We had proper equipment but other people were in trainers and struggled. We saw some animals by the shore including a boa which was pretty cool, didn’t see a lot when we went into the park though. As others said it felt quite rushed and we didn’t have much chance to look anywhere except the path. Even then, some elderly people slipped and fell. The worst bit was trying to get back on the boat. We tried to board near a resort called wilderness but the captain tried multiple times and failed to get close enough to the shore. At some point we managed to get on, but then the boat seemed like it might crash into the rocks and suddenly all the guides shouted at us to get off. In the rush, I left my shoes on the boat which I had to take off to wade through the water. We the had to walk about 500m across a pebble path (many of us without shoes) to the resorts boat landing. There we waited for about another hour while discussions ensued about how to get back. In that time we did see a puma on the estate which was amazing! But we waited for about two hours. Eventually the resort kindly offered to take us in their smaller boat to ours further out. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if that option hadn’t been available. When we finally got to the beach for lunch it was 3 pm. The lunch was tasty and the beach was beautiful and much calmer. Again it felt quite rushed and we left as soon as lunch was finished even though some people had only just gone into the water to swim. We’d also initially been told we’d do a shorter second hike which obviously we didn’t have time for. The boat went really fast which was pretty uncomfortable and again no chance to see any marine wildlife. We got back to uvita around 4.30. Overall I’m still glad I went but it wasn’t as good an experience as other tours we did in Costa Rica and I think there are some easy fixes to improve the experience : - be really clear about the process for getting tickets to the national park and that this may only be confirmed the day before - if access to the national park is not possible, adjust the trip and timings to take account of potential difficulties landing the boat in more difficult locations - potentially shorter routes but with more stops to take in the wildlife and scenery

Scam be careful!!!!! - Do NOT book with this company! They advertise and sell a tour to Corcovado National Park, but they do not actually take you to the official park entrance. I paid USD 145 for a Corcovado tour, and instead they took me to Estación Biológica Campanario, which is not the same as Corcovado National Park. When I asked for the official park entrance tickets, they admitted they did not have them. This means the tour was misrepresented from the beginning. When I returned to the office to address the issue, the manager was aggressive and unhelpful. They refused to take responsibility, did not offer a refund, and made no effort to resolve the situation. Because of this, I lost two valuable days of my vacation, as my goal was specifically to visit Corcovado National Park. Costa Rica has many honest and professional tour companies. I strongly recommend booking with a different agency and avoiding this one.

Trip was canceled the day... - Trip was canceled the day before - not enough people signed up according to tour company. Disappointed though we salvaged the day quite well with a hike to Nauyaca falls.

Misleading Tour, not worth 150 dollars - This tour was sold as a trip to Corcovado National Park—one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Instead, we were rerouted to some other “reserve” with the promise of “the same wildlife viewing opportunities”, which turned out to be nonsense. After hours of hiking, we saw exactly one animal: a single toucan. That’s it. No monkeys, no sloths, no tapirs—nothing. To make matters worse, when I emailed the company afterward to share this feedback, they never even bothered to respond. I paid $150 for a watered‑down substitute that in no way compares to Corcovado. This felt misleading at best and dishonest at worst.

NOT worth your money - This tour was absolutely not what we were promised. The “hike” was mostly just walking along the beach, and we saw virtually no animals at all. While I understand that wildlife sightings can’t be guaranteed, the route itself was not suitable for spotting animals in the first place. The hike lasted only about two hours, after which we were left sitting on a beach for an additional 1.5 hours doing nothing while waiting for the boat to arrive so we could have lunch. That long, unstructured wait felt like a complete waste of time and was extremely frustrating. Considering the high price of this tour, the experience was deeply disappointing. I regret spending so much money on something that fell so far below expectations and would not recommend this tour or company to others.
