• Bahía Uvita - Up to six guests can embark on an exhilarating high-speed sportfishing adventure on the open sea. Upon arrival at our property for check-in, our team will direct guests to the parking area at the main entrance of Parque Nacional Marina Ballena. From there, a brief 5-minute walk leads to the beach, where guests will board the tour boat. The boat will venture approximately 20 to 40 miles offshore, ideal for catching big game fish. We provide a variety of fishing techniques, including trolling, casting, slow jigging, and button fishing. The route will be planned with the captain, taking into account weather conditions and fish locations.

Bahia Uvita is renowned for its outstanding deep-sea fishing, which is consistently excellent throughout the year, establishing it as one of Costa Rica’s premier fishing locations. Offshore fishing occurs 20 to 40 miles out in deep waters, where visitors can catch species like Mackerel, Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin. Visitors are allowed to keep all species except Marlin and Sailfish, which must be released.
