Great whale watching experience! - Great experience! The guide and driver worked hard with other guides to find the whales, and we got to see a mom and baby up close many times! We also saw some sea caves and got to hear so much information about the wildlife of the area. The water was too cloudy for snorkeling but we enjoyed being dropped off at the whale tale after the tour to hike around and swim.

Touristy but worth it - Our Touguide Ericka was really great. She was able to answer all the questions and she gave us a lot of information about the animals and the national park. We have seen dolphins and humpback whales. The guides/boats are all connected to radio and WhatsApp, so the locations of the animals are shared with everyone. It is really very touristy, but worth it. Snorkeling is optional, there is not much to see.

Animal lover's DREAM - Saw whales, dolphins, a sea turtle, and snorkeled! The whole experience was so lovely to share with the boat drivers, guide (thank you Melanie!!) and excited tourists passionate about animals. Would highly recommend this company! They also had coffee and a sweet cake at their office for everyone where we met up to begin the tour. Worth every penny. What a delightful experience.

Whales 🐋 - Excellent guide, very attentive, made sure that all clients had a good view of the whales and dolphins. Ensured that our boat did not crowd the whales ( some other boat operators appeared to be too close). It was nice to have a swim and fruit in a secluded bay during the boat trip. Opportunity to snorkel.

Magical and impressive - After a very rewarding coconut opening lesson on the beach departure from the beach by fast boat and we saw several times a mom and her baby.

Our son was with the... - Our son was with his broken foot on crutches, and when they saw him, without asking for anything they put a car that took us to the point where he was taking the boat and then back. Quite a detail. Everything was well organized. At first we were not able to see whales, just a couple of birds on a stick and dolphins very little time. Since no one in the area had seen whales, when the tour should have ended we were given the option to return to the beach to bathe or use an additional hour trying to find whales. We decided to look for whales and finally got to see them. We didn’t have the opportunity to snorkle because of the sea conditions. Although we asked for a tour in Spanish it was all in English except the safety regulations. But since our half-children understood we didn't say anything.

A whale of two halves - Honestly experiences like this come in two parts; the bit you can control (organisation) and the bit you can't (wildlife). We were lucky, as part 2 was amazing and we had the privilege of spending quite a bit of time with a humpback mother and calf as well as seeing some dolphins. A solid 5/5. However, the whales arrived at the 11th hour and up to that point it was kind of average. Transport to the tour was a walk in the sun from shop to boat - a little tricky with a small kid. The guides had some knowledge, but not up to the standard we had come to expect elsewhere in Costa Rica. So 3/5.

Plenty of room for improvement - Whales and dolphins spotted, that was the main goal of course. However, annoying that you have to walk fifteen minutes in the burning sun (and at the end back again) from the office to the boat. The guide could not be heard on the back of the boat and the boat was packed. Snorkeling was only allowed in a deep part where you saw nothing, if you went to the beautiful part you were whistled back. So you certainly don't have to do this trip for snorkeling. All in all not really recommended.

Not well organized.... - Not well organized. Guides seemed uninterested and did not put in much effort. Saw no whales which is not the tours fault but even if we had I would not ever do this tour again.
