The perfect operator for the perfect experience - I rarely take the task of writing a review on TripAdvisor, but Joker Expeditions looked superb. What a great kindness that of your guides, and above all I want to highlight what a great organizer Jose was, the Atipax hotel is one of the best lodgings I have been in more than 30 countries. Joker Expeditions is without a doubt the operator you need for your tour to Salar de Uyuni, you will not regret it. Postscript, your guides take good pictures!

Uyuni in Covid-19 - Jorge Luis was our tour guide to the Salar de Uyuni for two days. All Biosecurity equipment and an oxygen tube. We had lunch on the way. Beautiful photo shoot at the Salar and surprised us with a birthday table with a poncho for my 15 year old son! Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we could not access the part of the excursion to see the Reserve where the stone tree and the Hedionda and Colorada lagoons are, nor the Museum of the Mummies at the foot of the Thunupa volcano because the communists closed the passage for security; but we were able to surround the beautiful volcano and enter the Island of Incahuasi. Regardless of those details it was a beautiful family experience!

Salar de Uyuni in 1 day - Very good tour. They lived up to what they promised. We spent time in the salt flat, walked, watched the sunset, the food provided very good, the trip safe, etc. Fully recommended.

Imperdible - Very peculiar landscape. Not enough to be a tiring program despite lasting about 8 hours. lunch included in the old salt hotel. I suggest to be cautious about altitude.

The most amazing trip I've ever been on - It was just amazing. I went there in April and we were lucky to see both the mirroring effect and the white salt flat. Our guide Aida was great, she explained really well about the flat and took amazing pictures and videos for us. The lunch was really good too. I'd go there again going on this same tour.

Sensational! - We took a whole day walk through the salar. It's wonderful! Worth every moment! The sunset is unforgettable! And we were lucky to still catch wet areas, with the landscapes reflected.

The Amazing Salt Desert in Uyuni - This tour is a must-see attraction. Prepare for the annoying soroche and be surprised by an extent of 12,000 square kilometers of salt desert. White on the dry part, looks like snow and bright on the wet part. When we contemplate that vastness we get excited. There are the "Eyes of Water" as springs in the middle of nothing, the endless blue sky and the desert

Mixed Feelings - A visit to the Salar de Uyuni is an unforgettable and extremely worthwhile experience, regardless of who takes you there, but it is important to be aware of a few things regarding this particular tour. First, if you stay at one of the premier hotels, such as the Palacio de Sal or Cristana Samaña, your tour will say it begins at 10:30 am, but the earliest you will be picked up is 12:00 pm. This tour starts at the train graveyard, which is at the far end of the Salar, and you will simply miss that part of the tour. For us, it was no big loss, but if that site is important to you, take note. Second, the tour guide we had, while very sweet and competent about taking us to the other parts of the Salar we did want to visit, did not speak a word of English. We speak Spanish, so it was not an obstacle, but if you don't, it could be quite challenging. In spite of our late start, we had an extraordinary day, and we were able to see both the Salar as a completely dry salt flat and a huge part of the Salar at sunset that was still wet and mirror-like, so we had the best of both worlds. Our guide had promised us this, and he absolutely delivered, so if you'd like to experience both, planning a visit during the last week of April, which is right on the cusp of the wet and dry seasons, may be key. The Salar is like no place you've ever experienced, and I HIGHLY recommend it! You will leave with incredible memories and the best photos you've ever taken!

Great Tour Guide But Rude Service - I booked the tour for June 3rd and I had clicked on the option that said to pick me up from my hotel at 10:30 AM. I wanted to double-check and make sure that they were going to pick me up at the hotel and I called their office. The person who picked up the phone was VERY rude and said, “Manisha, no seas desesperada” (Don’t be desperate) and told me that they are picking up other people and that they will eventually come to me. I trusted him, but then 11:00 AM rolls around and I still do not see a car. I call the office again and this time he yells at me and repeats the same thing that he told me before. When the car finally came (at 11:10), there were two people in there who work for the tourist agency and were very polite to me. However, I was expecting the other tourists since the very rude man on the phone told me that they were busy picking up the other people which is why they were late in picking me up. I was confused and then I was taking to the train cemetery and the other tourists on the trip seemed to be waiting on me. The tour guide said that I didn’t have time to see the train cemetery but one of the drivers that picked me up said to the tour guide in Spanish, “We need to let her see the train cemetery or else she will complain.” She told me politely that I have 10 minutes to visit the area and to take pictures. To be honest, I didn’t really care about the train cemetery that much but I thought it was very unprofessional to make me feel bad about calling them for not arriving to my hotel on time. He could have been more honest and even apologized for running late. On the other hand, the tour guide was awesome but I absolutely hated the rest of the service.
