Uyuni - Itinerary:
• 10:30am - Departure from the city of Uyuni to visit the Train Cemetery, and then go to the salt lake
• 11am - Make a brief stop in the town of Colchani, where you will pass the processing plant for artisan salt
• 12pm - Enter the Salar to visit waterholes, observe the extraction of salt, and visit the Playa Blanca Hotel (one of the first hotels in the Salar)
• 12:30pm - Lunch in the middle of Salar de Uyuni
• 1:30pm - Visit Incahuasi Island where you see the famous giant cactus
• 3:30pm - Arrive at the foot of Tunupa Volcano to take pictures, see flamingos, and watch the sunset
• 5:30pm - Sunset at the Salar de Uyuni (accompanied by a courtesy wine)
• 7:00pm - Return to Uyuni

Exceptional Service!!! - My cousin and I had very limited time in Bolivia but we knew we absolutely wanted to see that Salt Flats. We were so incredibly happy we booked a private tour with Joker Expeditions! We were sooooo well taken care of by our guide, Juan Carlos, and our drive, Daniel. From start to finish, we loved every personal touch - Picked up from Uyuni airport, taken to the office to get fitted for the rain boots and choose our ponchos for sundown. Then, off to the train cemetery, salt factory and then to tour the amazing Salt Flats! They set up the most delicious lunch (a feast) for us in the middle of the Salt Flats. We toured more the Salt Flats and then stopped to watch the sunset. Even there, they had set up a little charcuterie board and wine for us. Truly, a wonderful day spent at the Salt Flats. There are soooo many tour companies to choose from, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing Joker Expeditions!

Brilliant day great service perfect tour - Lilly was a fantastic guide and couldn’t do enough for us including taking some amazing photographs. The tour was perfect from start to finish. Excellent lunch and snacks can’t find a bad word to say about the day.

Great experience!9 - Yesterday we completed a tour of the Uyuni salt flats and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Our guide, Oscar, was well informed about every aspect of the area and was also personable and pleasant. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and nothings didn’t even realize we needed. He went above and beyond and i recommend requesting him
And his excellent driver, Dimitrio. We would most definitely use Joker again!

Fun relaxed well organised - The tour was relaxed and fun. Lunch in the flats excellent. But the star of the show was Julia who is a real gem. Delightful and cheerful and v engaging as well as engaged. I can’t speak highly enough. Good luck hope she and the company continue to thrive,

best day ever! - couldn’t of had a better day visiting the salt flats, everything was seamless getting to and returning to la paz. breakfast on arrival was great and our guide Al and driver for the day were fantastic. Al was very knowledgeable, was great at taking pictures, had an awesome playlist for the ride and went out of his way to make our day extra special! highlights were lunch in a remote location on the salt flats with a delicious picnic lunch highlighted by homemade lemon cake from the owners wife. we also really enjoyed our hike on the island and our sunset happy hour set up. this truly was the best day!

Favourite day of a 2week holiday - The tour guide Al was brilliant on our tour. We learnt so much about the local area's history and geography. He was also brilliant when it came to the photos on the salt flats and was generally great fun.
The food that was included was also very tasty
I would highly recommend booking through this company if you have limited time as they made everything very accommodating and José's hotel was a little luxury to arrive and return to.

Uyuni Salt Flat Day Tour - Have never had such an unbelievable experience with a tour company. Joker expedition exceeded all of our expectations and more. Booking with them was seamless through whatsapp. They arranged a driver to pick us up in La Paz and coordinated bus tickets on an overnight bus from La Paz to Uyuni. The bus was very comfortable and most importantly felt very safe. Once arriving in Uyuni they picked us up from the bus station and gave us a hotel room to shower and rest until breakfast which they included and our tour which departed around 10. Our tour guide and driver were both amazing and very professional. The pictures and videos our guide took of us were amazing. Although we didnt return to La Paz the company still took us to the bus station and helped us get tickets to our next stop in Sucre. I couldn’t recommend enough.
