SUNSET AT THE UYUNI SALT FLATS

Uyuni - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the bus terminal to begin the tour. The first stop will be the cemetery of abandoned trains on the outskirts of the Salar de Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia. Located southwest of Uyuni city, just a few kilometers from the city center, it is reputed to be the largest railroad cemetery globally. The journey continues through various salt holes, leading into the vast Salar. Lunch will be provided along the route. Following this, the tour will pass by Incahuasi Island and the Dakar monument, where the expansive salt flat offers opportunities for stunning photographs and dreams. The day will conclude with a return to the hotels.

CHIGUANA SALT FLAT-RED LAGOON

Laguna Colorada - The journey begins at 8:00 am, heading first to the Salar de Chiguana, a small salt flat nestled between volcanoes, with train tracks stretching into the distance. This is a highly photogenic location. Continuing at an altitude of 5,600 meters, visitors will see the still-active Volcan Ollague. The tour will then visit several lagoons, offering close views of flamingos. Lunch will be served along the route. At sunset, a wind formation will be visible among a collection of uniquely shaped rocks in the Pampas del Siloé, a desert marking the entrance to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. The tour concludes with a visit to the geysers, which can reach heights of up to 70 meters.

LAGUNA Y EL DESIERTO DE DALI

Uyuni - The day starts at 7:30 am with a visit to Laguna Verde, a stunning lagoon with green waters located near the Chilean border at the base of the Licancabur volcano. The tour continues to the Dali desert, renowned for its unusual rock formations, creating a magical and surreal landscape where nature appears to mimic art. The tour will conclude with visits to at least three lagoons of varying colors, finishing in the town of Uyuni at approximately 7:00 p.m.
