Journey from La Paz to Uyuni

Uyuni Salt Flats
Uyuni Salt Flat - Upon arrival at the bus terminal, guests will be taken to their hotel to rest, enjoy breakfast, and freshen up with a shower before the tour begins. The tour starts at 10:00 AM, featuring visits to the train cemetery, Colchani, artisan shops, Isla Incahuasi, and Salar de Uyuni. A private lunch will be served in the middle of the salt flat, followed by a sunset viewing with a special toast. Overnight accommodations will be at Hotel Jardines de Uyuni or a similar establishment, with a private room equipped with a shower and heating.
From Uyuni Salt Flats to Laguna Colorada
Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa - The journey continues southwest, exploring lagoons such as Cañapa, Chiarkota, Ramaditas, and the stinking lagoon, where pink flamingos can be observed. Guests will visit the Siloli desert, the stone tree, red lagoon, and volcanic fumaroles. Overnight stay will be near the hot springs of Polques, with a private room and bathroom.
Green and Red Lagoon to Uyuni
Laguna Verde - The tour includes visits to the hot springs of Polques, the Dali desert, valley of rock formations, green lagoon, and the Licancabur Volcano viewpoint, before returning to Uyuni. Along the way, guests will see herds of llamas, vicuñas, wild birds, and more.
Uyuni - Arrival in Uyuni is expected around 5:00 PM, allowing time to rest and shower before boarding the bus back to La Paz. Arrival in La Paz is scheduled for 6:00 AM.

Laguna Verde is a beautiful green colored lake close to the Chilean border at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Its color is caused by sediments, containing copper minerals. Laguna Colorada is a red colored lake, also because of the presence of minerals. The lagoons together with the flamingos create a very unique scene of spectacular beauty!
