Great mix of seeing how life was years ago with the fun of an airboat tour to complete the day - Fantastic day out & about. The plantation was fascinating with some sad history of slavery. Learnt a lot. The airboat ride was great. A lot of fun and a lot of gators to see. Larry, handle -BamBam, kept us informed throughout the trip telling us a lot about the area. Recommended

Trip w family (17/21 year old kids) - Airboat Tour on the Voodoo Queen was fantastic! Oak Alley plantation was impressive for its beauty… but the standard tour was a bit white washed!

NOLA Excursion to Plantation & Airboat Ride - Our driver was great he gave us great information about the city, our excursion & was very funny! The plantation was magical with the trees and grounds so well kept. The gift shop & food at the restaurant was great! The mansion was incredible & our tour guide had great stories about the history of the families that had all lived on the grounds. The airboat ride was fun & we got to feed the alligators, was super cool!

Small airboat and Oak Alley - Great tour. Driver Brett was great. He got us through New Orleans with ease. He was very patient with the crazy traffic. Once at the dock the airboat captain took us back into small inlets. Along the way Brett gave great information about the activities and areas we were driving through. The tour at Oak Alley was good. We had enough time for the house tour and explore on our own.

Oak Alley tour was very... - Oak Alley tour was very limited and not really very informative or entertaining. took the same tour 10-15 yrs ago and much longer, with many stories about life on the plantation - visiting guests, slaves, kitchens, bed rolling. this was bare bones and pretty bad. Oak Alley grounds are pretty. Mint Julep was good. food was acceptable and not too touristy expensive. the airboat ride was fun. since warm out many alligators. less fun on the airboat than other trips we have taken - during the cold months where there were very few alligators, but they made more fun running the airboat about in curly ques. guess summer they fill with animals, winter with boat tricks.

Do something else! - Long drive. Lots of down time. Plantation is not worth the drive or the time allotted. Swamp tour was simply a large mud flat. Not very scenic. It was good to see alligators on a sunny day, but that is it. Not worth the steep price.
