- Tui - Crossing the metal bridge from Portugal to Spain, we arrive in Tui. Navigating through its cobbled and winding streets, the city’s medieval layout becomes apparent. Rich in history, Tui boasts a Romanesque and Gothic cathedral, along with the churches of St. Bartolomeu and St. Telmo.
- Porrino - After Tui, traveling through dirt roads, woods, and bridges, we reach Porriño. Notable sites include the chapel of San Benito, the church of Santa Maria, and the Ayuntamento.
- Pontevedra - We conclude the first day in Pontevedra, where we will rest for the night, reaping the rewards of our efforts. Known for its hospitality, this city features monuments over 4000 years old, a stunning historical center, and lively fountains, avenues, and squares.
- Caldas de Reis - On the route from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis, some of the most beautiful and ancient stone crosses begin to appear, indicating the correct path to Santiago. The entrance to Caldas de Reis is near the Santa Maria Church, and the bridge over the Umia River leads to the renowned Las Burgas hot spring.
- Padron - Departing from Caldas de Reis, we head towards Padrón. Legend has it that after a perilous journey, the boat carrying the Apostle’s disciples and his body from Palestine stopped here. The boat was secured to a pedrón—a large cylindrical stone—buried by the riverbank. Once the Apostle’s sarcophagus landed, the people traveled to Compostela to bury him in the land where he had preached.
- Santiago de Compostela - As the journey concludes, we enter Santiago through narrow, stony alleys, arriving at the Pilar Church. Like the paths guiding pilgrims, the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
