Our favorite experience in Valencia - This was my favorite experience on our trip to Valencia! My teenage daughter and I took this cooking class from Chef Jordi and both of us loved every minute of it. Jordi is not just an incredible chef but an amazing host, funny, informative, kind and a great teacher! We had so much fun as he took us through the market to shop, ate delicious tapas that he prepared for us and then learned to cook Paella. This experience was so much fun and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

A memorable last minute reservation - We booked Jordi's class at the last minute and it turned out to be one of the best moments of our trip. His cuisine in Russafa is bright and welcoming, and from the moment we arrived he made sure everyone got to know each other. The little walk from the market with our fresh ingredients looked like a mini tour of his neighborhood. We had never made paella before, and it was delicious – especially the crispy layer at the bottom. we left proud of ourselves with the desire to cook at home.

An admirable experience - We decided to participate as a family in Jordi’s workshop, and the chef’s simplicity, kindness and expertise moved us. Going to the typical Ruzafa Market and then going to cook at home in a Relaxed Mood was very nice, as nice as the simple and effective tapas we also learned to prepare. My family members have cooked paellas, but I had never learned to make them and after the workshop I felt ready to prepare it myself. Jordi’s workshop is absolutely recommended, he is an award-winning chef, but he knows how to transmit his art with a lot of humanity.

Amazing paella - amazing teacher - Such a great experience cooking with Jordi - from start to finish. The food was amazing, we learnt so much, and the vibe was great. Would not hesitate to book another class when we come back to Valencia.

The best paella in Valencia - The paella class with Jordi was a truly unforgettable experience that we will remember forever. During the cooking, we enjoyed delicious tapas and sangria, and we also had a lot of fun. The paella was so excellent that even our children went back for seconds.

Paella cooking champion show! Don’t miss it! - Super nice experience! Starting at the market where you get the ingredients you are going to cook afterwards, super fresh! Then the cooking with Joris is just a show on its own quite interactive and funny, well a champion of paella cooking! Music and Sangria à volonté! Exceeded expectations and on top of it the most important the Paella was super good!!!

Well worth the price! - Jordi's class was incredible! After a two-month break, we were lucky he was back at work. We expected a fun workshop, but it turned out to be a complete Valencian experience, with everyone feeling like old friends. At the market, we bought vegetables for Felicidad and picked the best under Jordi's guidance. It being Tuesday, the market was quiet, as Jordi said. Then we bought fresh meat directly from the butcher. Before we went to the kitchen, we had a snack—delicious! It was so hot that we wanted a fresh sangria, so we all wanted to go to the kitchen quickly, haha. Jordi has an adorable little dog who stayed with us because, according to Jordi, he loves chicken, haha. Honestly, I didn't expect so much tapas. How could I forget the omelet that was twirling in the air? The other guests were all open and curious from a gastronomic point of view, so it was easy to break the ice (the sangria helped a bit, lol). Jordi was kind and gave us clear instructions for cooking paella. Another surprise was the final role-playing game—what a laugh! I will recommend this experience to all my friends who visit Valencia. Thank you, Jordi!

Unique Experience with Local Chef - My family of four had a fabulous time! We loved all of it, from shopping at the market, to the delicious tapas, sangria, paella, and group dynamics. Jordi did a job engaging the group with his knowledge, skill, and humour. The sangria was flowing and the food was delicious! We highly recommend this unique experience when you visit Valencia!

Authentic and Fun Paella Experience with Jordi - The paella cooking class with Jordi was fantastic! Super entertaining, friendly, and informative. Jordi is a great host who shares not only delicious recipes but also cultural insights about Spanish cuisine. We cooked a variety of dishes, and the paella was absolutely amazing – full of flavor and made with fresh ingredients. Sweetest, funniest, tastiest paella class you could ever attend! - Jordi is absolutely incredible. I was expecting a touristic paella class but it turned out to be a full experience head to toe, feeling like becoming part of a family. From the market, where we bought THE TASTIEST VEGGIES I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!! (I literally cried once i tasted the artichokes) We learned a couple of words in valencian, which is very sweet to bring with you out of this experience. We then were hosted in Jordi's cute apartment, with his little sweet dog greeting us (❤️). All the anecdotes, sangrias, laughter, made us forget we were in a room with complete strangers, it felt like a sunday morning with family. We all cooked together, as a traditional valencian family, we danced, we sang and Jordi shared with us the story of his family which was a very touching moment (probably all the sangria in my body helped making me a bit emotional 🤪). I couldn't stop telling everyone about this incredible few hours, it made the whole holiday. Thank you Jordi!
