• La Lonja de la Seda - ADMISSION ONLY INCLUDED FOR ONE MUSEUM/MONUMENT. A private guide will lead you through the UNESCO-listed Lonja de la Seda, or Silk Exchange, which was the hub of Valencia’s commerce in the 15th century. The building is a historical gem, adorned with intricate carvings and gargoyles that narrate their own tales. If you opt for entry into La Lonja, the guide will show you the orangerie, the grand hall, and the elaborately decorated rooms.
• Almoina Archaeological Center - ADMISSION ONLY INCLUDED FOR ONE MUSEUM/MONUMENT. The guide will accompany you beside the reflecting pond that serves as the roof for the modern archaeological museum, which houses the Roman ruins of ancient Valencia. Choosing to enter the Almoina will transport you back to the Roman era and the city’s early beginnings. As the museum is underground, it is an excellent choice for a hot day.
• Valencia Cathedral - ADMISSION ONLY INCLUDED FOR ONE MUSEUM/MONUMENT. Additional cost of 5€ per person (children excluded). Subject to availability. Constructed between the 13th and 15th centuries, the Cathedral of Valencia is reputed to house the Holy Grail, which you can see if you choose to enter the Cathedral. The guide will walk you around the exterior, explaining the significance of its diverse architectural styles.
• Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias - During the tour, the guide will unveil the secrets of the City of Arts and Sciences complex, designed by Valencia’s own Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela. You may choose to conclude your tour at the City of Arts and Sciences to visit Europe’s largest aquarium and ocean research center, the Oceanografic. Guides are pleased to make reservations for you at the underwater restaurant or assist in purchasing tickets to explore the marine life.
• Playa de la Malvarrosa - No trip to Valencia is complete without a photo stop at the scenic, expansive sandy Malvarrosa beach area. You may choose to end your tour at the beach to enjoy some Mediterranean sunshine. Guides are happy to make reservations for you at a preferred beachside restaurant or suggest beach rentals for a sunny afternoon.
• Estacio del Nord - During the tour, the guide will take you along the main shopping street, passing by the Romanesque Bullring and the Art Nouveau style train station. Entry into the train station can be arranged free of charge - please inquire when booking your tour.
• Central Market of Valencia - Featuring an Art Nouveau style with stunning stained glass windows and Moorish-style arches, the Mercado Central, or Central Market, is a highlight of the city center. The guide will lead you through rows of stalls brimming with fresh produce, meats, cheeses, wine, fish, olives, and more. You will have the opportunity to sample some of Valencia’s delicacies at the Central Market. Not available on Sundays, public holidays, or afternoon tours.
• Ayuntamiento de Valencia - Situated in the city center, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is home to Valencia’s government center and town hall.
• Plaza de la Virgen - One of Valencia’s most beautiful spots, the Plaza de la Virgen is located in the pedestrian-only historic city center. The guide will take you through the plaza, showcasing the Basilica, the Cathedral, and the central fountain. You can pause your tour here to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while people-watching. You might even see a few Valencian Falleras in traditional 18th-century gowns.
