A brilliant half-day tour - We did this tour with a Maltese guide who was magnificent! So much to see, so much history! The cathedral is a must-see, a must-go, so go on a tour with this included in it; you skip the queues there if you do when you go with the tour guide and he takes care of all the ticketing! The interior of this cathedral, of which there is so much, is quite breath-taking! Beautiful, and with decoration on the most incredible level, quite beyond belief! It also houses the most incredible paintings. And, if it your thing, you can visit the clock towers too, and the crypt. You can have a audio guide as most visitors did, but we had our human one who was magnificent. I have not posted any photos here as there are so many already and mine really add nothing to the those showing the tour or the cathedral.

Valletta - Valletta is the capital of MALTA. The co-cathedral of Saint John is a Catholic cathedral, located in Valletta. It was built between 1573 and 1577, by the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. It is built of Maltese limestone, the exterior of the church has an austere appearance. It measures 65 m long by 40 m wide. I recommend a walk in the gardens and on the docks.
