- Easter Island - The meeting point is in town, with the first stop near Anakena Beach. Here, there will be a discussion on Polynesian navigation techniques and an overview of the night sky, along with telescope viewing and a coffee break. The tour proceeds to Anakena for photography. Photos will be emailed within approximately 5 days, considering the slow internet on the island.
The tour lasts about 3 hours, including transportation back to your accommodation.

Explore the fundamentals of basic astronomy, delve into the history of Polynesian voyaging and settlement, and discover navigational techniques along with the archeo-astronomy of Rapa Nui. Marvel at the night sky, observing stars and constellations unique to the Southern Hemisphere.
The guide will highlight stars and constellations significant to Polynesian navigators, sharing stories and legends associated with them, and demonstrating how to locate certain cardinal points of the traditional Polynesian compass using the night sky’s arrangement. Admire the stunning star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, stars, and planets through a high-powered telescope before proceeding to Anakena Beach, where there is an opportunity to capture breathtaking photos of the starry sky with moai in the foreground. Conclude the evening with a warm beverage and a slice of local cake.
