• Banaras Ghats - Begin the day with a delightful sunrise boat ride on the Ganges River. At 6:00 AM, the operator will pick guests up from the hotel lobby. The journey starts at Dashashwamedh Ghat and covers several ghats, concluding at Manikarnika Ghat, also known as “The Burning Ghat.” Varanasi is renowned for its narrow lanes, where visitors can explore famous food stalls, perfume shops, Ayurvedic oil markets, and more.
• Banaras Hindu University - After breakfast, embark on a city tour. The temple has a rich history, having been rebuilt multiple times due to destruction by various rulers over the centuries. The current structure was constructed by Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century. The expansive temple complex includes smaller shrines dedicated to various deities. Besides the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi hosts numerous other significant temples, such as the Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, and the Tulsi Manas Temple.
• Sarnath - Following the city tour, guests will visit Sarnath, home to several significant Buddhist monuments, including the Dhamek Stupa, believed to mark the location of Buddha’s first sermon. The site also features remnants of monasteries, stupas, and museums that offer insights into the area’s rich history and heritage.
• Ganga Aarti - Prepare for an unforgettable evening experience with the Ganga Aarti, a Hindu ritual honoring the sacred Ganges River. This ceremony typically occurs at sunrise or sunset and is conducted by priests along the riverbanks. It involves offering prayers, hymns, and chants to the river, along with lighting lamps or candles and floating flower garlands or small oil lamps on the water. The tour concludes with a drop-off at the hotel.

The tour will start early in the morning. Taking a boat ride in Varanasi is an essential experience that lets you observe the city’s lively atmosphere and rich culture from a unique vantage point. We will visit the Ghats of Varanasi during the boat ride and then return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will tour the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, as well as Manas Mandir, Hanuman Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankatmochan Temple, and BHU. At noon, we will drive to Sarnath. Historically, Sarnath is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples after attaining enlightenment in Bodh Gaya. This event, known as the “Turning of the Wheel of Dharma” or “Dharmachakra Pravartana Sutra,” marked the beginning of Buddha’s teaching of the Dharma, or the path to enlightenment. In the evening, get ready for Ganga Aarti and enjoy the ceremony from Dasaswamedh Ghat. Afterward, rest for the night.
