- Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple) - Following the boat ride, join your guide for a brief walking tour through the old city’s narrow lanes to view the Kashi Vishwanath, one of the most revered Hindu temples.
- Banaras Hindu University - After a self-funded breakfast, proceed to Banaras Hindu University at 10am. Founded in 1916, BHU boasts the largest university campus in Asia. Explore the campus, including the Bharat Kala Bhavan museum and the new Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple), a precise replica of the original Vishwanath Temple.
- Bharat Mata Temple - Visit the Mother India Temple, established in 1918, featuring a unique marble relief map of the Indian subcontinent. At 12:30pm, delve into the silk weaving heritage of Varanasi, followed by a lunch break (own expense). Later, travel approximately eight miles (13 km) to Sarnath to see the Dhamekh Stupa, the site of Buddha’s first sermon.
