I will teach you basic spices combinations, preparation of most popular dishes such as aviyal, sambar, pineapple chutney etc. We will finish all together with a delicious lunch served on a banana leaf with rice, our prepared dishes and some yummy additions included traditional dessert.

A must-do in Varkala - I had a great experience joining Suresh's cooking class. He explained the composition and the process of every dish we cooked in great detail and with a lot of humour. The food was absolutely amazing, and everything was very well-organised, clean and smooth. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Varkala!

Fantastic introduction to Keralan cuisine - Myself and two others had the class to ourselves and had a great time. Suresh is very knowledgeable and the class is well thought out, organised, and interactive. We asked lots of questions, including where we can get ela ada, and he explained what it is as well as whipping some up and giving us some! What an amazing experience and a delicious meal at the end, would definitely recommend. 👌

Yummy authentic south indian fresh food - Very good experience.
During 2 hours you will cook 5 dishes and then you will eat together.

Entertaining, informative and delicious. Recommended! - Wonderful experience - well presented with hands on participation, we learned lots about Kerala ingredients and recipes. The kitchen is nicely designed, elevated and open at the sides for some air. If you are here off season, you might get lucky enough to get an exclusive class
