SLI Family Gondola Ride - This shared gondola ride experience is reasonably priced and offers a history of Venice canal taking you into virtual reality and then you are escorted to your gondola where the the experience is enjoyable and memorable.

I expected better… - Arrived to the meeting point a few minutes early and were told to wait a little. Then they checked us in and we waited longer. Walked down to the docks the we stood around and waited longer… the gondola driver seems annoyed and didn’t want to be there. He spoke 3 words to us the entire ride. Ride was supposed to be 30 mins, he had us back to the dock in 23. Idk there’s lots of Gondoliers all over Venice. I would suggest using one with a personality and one that doesn’t make you wait almost an hour to board.

Nice, leisurely ride, but be prepared to meet the crowd at the tour office. - Very scenic ride; lots of photogenic spots. It started in the "open water" at the exit of the Grand Canal before going into the smaller canals. I think going under the Bridge of Sighs is worth the extra, especially if you are a romantic and are with a loved one. For this price, you won't get your own boat, unless you are a party of five, and don't expect much interaction with the gondolier. Get the Ca'Rezzonico add-on if you have the time; the small extra cost can get you into the very nice museum for free at a later time, but be sure to ask for the ticket at the tour office before you leave; they almost forgot to give us ours. The tour office was pretty crowded and chaotic, and it wasn't even during the summer. I suggest arriving a bit extra early ahead of your tour time.

Inaccurate information - The gondola tour lasts only 20 minutes and not 40: the other 20 minutes consist in looking virtually at the history of the upcoming trade

While an app... - While an app was.availableto have an English speaking gondola, would have preferred and English speaking gondola to make it more alive and personable.

Poor value short boat ride. - The boat trip was only 20 mins of the 45 minutes advertised. Commentary was not live but was an app. Poor value.

HORRIBLE AND DISORGANIZED!!! - Horrible tour. Not what the have in description. Very disorganized and disappointing. Then the ladies were rude and basically dismissive when we returned to the office to let them know that there is no such thing as a “Casanova Castle”. Go with another tour. They took us to the gondolas with no further instructions, information, or map. As a disabled veteran, you can imagine how inconvenient it was to retrace steps only to find we had to walk an additional 40 minutes to the other tour!
