We had the best time!... - We had the best time! Highlight of our trip to Italy for sure. If we are ever back in Venice we will definitely book this again. Massimo was very fun and engaging with lots of stories and humour to share. We were so grateful for his hospitality and warm welcome into his home. And the food we cooked was amazing! Best meal we had all trip. He communicated with us before the trip to learn our preferences and tailored the menu to us. Highly recommend!

Incredible, unforgettable experience - What an incredible experience. Cooking vegan pizza with Massimo was beyond any possible expectations. He took our small group on a tour of Venice marketplaces and hand selected fresh produce for our dishes while connecting with us and teaching us bits of history, culture and architecture facts. Then, he welcomed us into his beautiful home, where we were treated to amazing conversation and wine. He’s an expert chef and we learned a ton about Italian cuisine. Then, we ate a delicious, several course meal and enjoyed more wine! Massimo is charismatic, hospitable and very kind. 11/10 experience and the highlight of our trip.

The best vegan meal of my life - Massimo is great! We toured the Rialto market and met and tasted foods from unique vendors. We then purchased fresh ingredients and headed to Massimo's kitchen to cook. What a fabulous Italian meal. It was our favorite.i still surprise how many traditional italian dishes are vegan.

More than a cooking class, amazing introduction to vegan and Venetian cuisine! - Thank you! What a wonderful experience! We visit the traditional market with local produce. We purchased fresh fruits to eat, dried herbs and spices to bring back home. Terrific experience ! Massimo is a wonderful instructor and had a great personality to lead the class. Only four people in the class which was perfect in the well designed ancient venice house setting. Massimo teaching is so knowledgeable and explains every ingredient and it’s purpose as we go. It’s very hands on, everyone gets involved in the preparation and cooking and we are given the recipes to follow and make notes. We are told about substitutes for ingredients that may not be readily available for us at home too! After a very enjoyable two and a half hours we sit down again to enjoy our feast! Can’t recommend this enough, every recipe can be adapted for non vegans too!

Delicious ingredients, good company and healthy recipes! - The cooking class was wonderful. We loved going to the market first. The facilities were clean and Massimo made the lesson easy, so much fun and interesting. The food was great and we were happy to get a copy of the recipes after class. I would highly recommend this class.Visiting the market was an interesting addition. Overall experience was wonderful. The class was centered around delicious familiar foods that happen to be vegan. If you require or prefer an allergy friendly menu, please let Massimo know ! We decide the menu togheter and was amazing.
We prepare togheter a Caponata with focaccia....caponata consisting of chopped fried eggplant/aubergine and other vegetables, seasoned with olive oil, tomato sauce, celery, olives, and capers, in an sweet and sour sauce. The basil from the garden was so good.the house was very beautiful, an old venetian house. we want to do another vegan cooking class with Massimo! we will be back!

therapeutic lesson! - Massimo is cultured alchemist of flavours, we enjoyed every single moment with him, from the market where we bought vegetables from small producers to the florist where he gave us beautiful flowers to take with us. In his garden we picked fresh herbs, and met a sun-loving cat. In her very artistic home we discovered the secret of easy vegan dishes and secrets passed down through generations in her family on how to preserve flavors without overcooking.
We experimented with "caponata" (I want to eat more!) and a warm bread made of very rare flours.
Then handmade pasta ... up to a very colorful dessert based on a fruit unknown to me, we felt very lucky to have a cooking class with Massimo. Thank you!

What an amazing experience!!! - This was a highlight of my trip to Italy, and the best cooking class I've ever taken. Massimo was a wonderful guide through the market. We talked about what foods I enjoy eating and he helped me pick dishes that would balance out the meal.Besides, I felt like she opened my new door and took me to the next level of Italian food in general!!! OMG!!! I want to write more, but pls believe me and take his class!!! Once again, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful passion and thank you so much for having me in your private kitchen!!! You are so amazing and unforgettable!!! I will never forget the day we cooked together!!! I'm 100 % positive to be back to your class in the future!!! CIAO!

Vegan Italian pastries! - we were very lucky to meet Massimo. He asked us what we wanted to eat....and yes we are very greedy for sweets and cakes! after the visit to the market we returned home with some delicious fruit. Massimo paired fresh juices with each dessert. So many colours! what magnificent flavors almost without using sugar! We recommend it to everyone! It's already a priceless experience to see his house... beautiful!

This isn't just a cooking class - This isn’t just a cooking class. It’s a chance to see food—and yourself—differently. Massimo was very welcoming from the first moment at the fresh market visit. We discover how to create meals that feel complete, using plant proteins, healthy fats, and smart techniques to build dishes that leave you truly satisfied. My favorite dish was pan-fried cumin bread accompanied by local radicchio with balsamic vinegar cream....I hope to return soon to do a new cooking class!!
