Offering a fantastic alternative to Venice’s typically quiet nightlife, this is one of the best ways to connect with fellow travelers from around the globe.
The tour begins at the Ca’ Rezzonico museum, conveniently located by the vaporetto stop at 5:00 pm. Here, participants will meet our lively staff member holding a sign that reads “I’m doing it Venetian Style.”
- Campo San Toma - Wandering through the maze of narrow alleyways and campi, the tour visits three local bars known as Bacari in the Venetian dialect.
- Mercati di Rialto - At each bar, or “bacaro” in Venetian, guests will be offered an “Ombra,” a glass of local wine. At the final bar, there will be an opportunity to try the very popular Venetian “SPRITZ.”
Participants will also enjoy typical Venetian cicchetti (tapas) at each bacaro. The only requirement is that guests are over 18 years of age, so please bring identification. Booking in advance is highly recommended.
