An unforgettable experience! - Educational trip for my pupils of class 5^ primary (Belluno) 29-30 May 2023. Two lovely and unforgettable days thanks to the SUPER availability of all the staff of the Dogedivenezia company. From the first contact, Mrs. Donatella Zoia, Project Manager, followed me and accompanied me in the Timeline of the different trips (Transfer Santa Lucia Station - San Marco; San Marco - Punta Sabbioni; tour of the islands and transfer San Marco - Santa Lucia Station) with great attention to our every need, willingness to collaborate and readiness to find effective solutions. A sincere thanks also goes to all the staff involved: guides, captains and sailors who with professionalism and courtesy accompanied us along all the routes. If I had to organize other excursions to Venice and the islands, I would have no doubt who to contact. Thank you so much!!! Isabella Launched

Murano and Burano Islands - Very nice boat ride from Venice to Murano and Burano! The guide was friendly and spoke in many different languages. The glass factory was interesting and had a really nice jewellery shop. Burano was amazing! We had plenty of time to explore the island. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the islands while in Venice.

Beautiful Islands, Disorganized Tour - We're a family of four who booked through Get Your Guide. When we got to the appointed dock near San Marco, there was pure confusion. The "tour guide" ordered us to wait behind all the other people coming by boat even though we arrived first. So by the time we got on the ferry, there were barely any seats together. This tour was merely a people mover. There was no "guiding" by the guide. Also, the published times at the locations were not adhered to. We only spent 50min in Murano (vs 1hr published) and 1hr in Burano (vs 90min published). Islands were beautiful, especially Burano, so I'm glad we went. But if you're expecting more organized, this isn't it.

Rare - We left with a motorboat, along the journey to the island of Murano, we had to take on board other passengers from another motorboat which had a breakdown, then once we arrived in Burano they left us free for about an hour and a half, then they took us on board on a vehicle that looked like a tractor, a lot of noise and it went very slowly, so much so that we had to arrive in Venice in half an hour, it took us an hour.

Take the ferry. This trip was awful. - Such a shame We booked this trip and one other hoping for a trip and tour. It’s quite a dissatisfying trip. From Punta sabbioni you have to travel to Venice prior to heading to murano. We were still sitting on board at 13.10 Meaning we didn’t arrive at murano till 13:40!!! Our actual tour didn’t start till near 2pm once all had left the boat. If you want to explore please don’t take this trip. Also applies to the Venice boat trip they host. You get less that one hour by the time you’ve disembarked. A waste of an evening.

Don’t book this trip - They give you the wrong pick up details and then you will sit waiting for 45 mins for them to pick you up, you will try to contact them and they will just copy and paste a description of where they started the trip from. Leaving you at the place you were told. I asked for a refund and they said no and apparently it was my fault i was given the wrong details and waited where i was told, so can’t have a refund. I would give no stars if i could.

Leaves tourists stranded! - This started poorly when we turned up at the allocated time and place, and an unmarked boat turned up late. We were told a representative would be waiting for us - instead we had to approach the boat driver who was not identifiable in any way - neither was the boat, to confirm this was the right bus. There was no signage or any other kind of welcome. It turns out this was a ferry to the main boat, which when we got to it, had the upper outside level full already, so we had limited seating. The ‘tour’ side of this is a tour guide talking in 4 languages. The English wasn’t very clear, but mainly we didn’t learn much due to the time it took to say the same thing in 4 languages. At the end of the ‘tour’ the tour guide had disappeared (got off at an earlier stop) and we were left without a ferry to take us back to where we started, as promised in the advertising - no explanation and people were just left to source their own transport. Very, very poor and an example of how tourists are treated with disdain and seen as cash cows in Venice.

Run away! Tourist catch - Departure scheduled at 11:00. The boat docks at 11:55 in Mutano directly on the pontoon of the glass factory and we are announced to leave Murano at 12:45!!!! It is impossible to visit the island knowing that the passage in glassware is mandatory. The demonstration of glass blowing is done in a crowded hangar and lasts....6 minutes so almost nothing. Then a forced shift to the adjoining trade where prices are higher than elsewhere in Venice. In short you will not see much glassware and NOTHING Murano because the boat leaves illico. Then we leave for Burano and again, we are supposed to have lunch and visit in barely an hour. In short, take the bus boats to visit these islands. It’s cheaper and above all, you’ll really visit them!
