An outstanding evening - Without doubt this was one of the highlights of our Venice trip. A resounding performance that lifted the spirits and with Vivaldi overseeing it all in a wonderful venue to boot. I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough.

A Must Stop - This is our first stop to start our visit to Venice. This is the church where Vivaldi worked and to hear The Four Seasons in this setting is transcendent if you are a fan. The musicians are first rate and put on a most emotional and unforgettable evening. This is our 3rd time and it’s more beautiful each visit!

The Best Musical Orgy - Attending The Four Seasons performed at the Church of the Pietà was an absolute revelation. From the first notes of “Spring,” I was swept away in a torrent of sound—an immersive, almost ecstatic experience. The all-male ensemble brought a rare intensity and precision, each musician feeding off the others’ energy in a way that made every crescendo feel both urgent and joyous. They had an amazing chemistry, and it was impossible not to be drawn into their collective passion. The acoustics of the Church of the Pietà elevated the performance beyond mere music; the soaring violins and subtle dynamics filled the space so completely it felt as though the building itself was singing along. Vivaldi’s genius was undeniable, but it was the performers’ passion that transformed these iconic concertos into a living, breathing celebration. It was so powerful that it even set off the smoke detector—lol! Simply put, this was the best musical orgy I’ve attended: an exuberant, unforgettable journey through the seasons that left me exhilarated and buzzing with energy. I highly recommend this concert to anyone who loves music that doesn’t just entertain but transports you entirely, whether you’re a classical aficionado, a curious newcomer, or just someone who wants to feel the full, unrestrained power of Vivaldi brought to life. Bring an open heart and, maybe, prepare for a smoke-detector-level experience!

Lovely, sight and sound - I attended this concert on my last night in Venice. It only added to the sense of magic that I feel when I am there. The church is beautiful with fabulous acoustics. it was a small string orchestra and harpsichord with different musicians taking the lead and adding their own style. Simple, elegant and thoroughly satisfying, I recommend this show.

Excellent night of music, shame others don’t know how to behave! - Not everyone who attends wanted to listen. There were two couples by me, one of which endlessly talked (and not quietly) and the other had a fit of giggles and they choose not to move but just continue to disturb others. There were no stewards patrolling so despite the odd ssshhh and glare, nothing was done until thankfully they left, after a selfie of course!! The music however…..exceptional and high quality. The location was cold, but it was a church in December, so dress accordingly.

Great Experience but Not as Advertised - The performers were amazing, the church a beautiful setting, and entry process well organized. My frustration was that the concert was promoted as the Four Seasons and yet the ensemble only performs this music on certain nights, not all. I unfortunately attended on an “off night” and while beautiful to listen to, the music performed was not what I was expecting or familiar with. Hearing the Four Seasons was the main reason I purchased the tickets. Next time I will also look at the performance / venue website to confirm details.

Vivaldi in Venice - Beautiful location in the center of Venice and suggestive concert. Unfortunately they did not perform the 4 seasons, but other lesser-known works by Vivaldi; perhaps it should be specified that not on all dates are performed the 4 seasons. A bit touristy, but there is for about an hour to live as an experience.

Ice cold experience - The musicians themselves were outstanding and Vivaldi speaks for himself. However, it was so drafty (my hair blew in the cold wind) that you could hardly enjoy. The evening was actually wasted. What a shame!
