- Please note that if you take the 14:00 (2 pm) tour, Correr Museum will be closed before your tour finishes. Therefore, you will have Correr tickets for the next day.
- Please note that carrying any type of weapon or sharp objects, such as a knife, is not allowed for this tour.
- Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
- Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
- If you choose the optional gondola ride, your guide will lead you to the pier at the end of the Doge’s Palace tour.
- Please note that the gondola ride is shared with other participants from your tour, just like it’s always been in Venetian tradition.
- Each gondola accommodates up to 5 guests. If your group is larger, you’ll be placed on separate gondolas.
- Sites visited during this tour are subject to occasional closures due to holy observances, high tides, and flooding. If a site closes, your guide will tour the exterior of the site. If time permits, you will be contacted before your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

We meet in Saint Mark’s Square near the waterfront by the two large columns. Our guide will be under the one with the winged lion on top. Your guide will have a signboard that says, “Walks In Europe.”

There is so much history... - There is so much history in the Doge’s Palace. Loredana did an excellent job providing rich history focused on the essentials. My 11yo was engaged. Loredana expertly guided us and helped us stand in the best places to explore each room. The gondola ride was great. The shared ride is groups of five. We were lucky and that there were eight total people on our tour so my family of four ended up with our own gondola. 30 minutes was the perfect line for a gondola ride. We were in the Grand Canal for a little bit and then the side canals. While we didn’t have someone singing and playing the accordion, we passed enough boats who did to get a feeling of what that would’ve been like.

Great tour - The guided Dodge palace tour was excellent. I recommend it. I forgot the name of the guide. She guided adults and children with no problem keepimg everyone imterested all the time. Skip the line is worth it. Gondola ride is a must do when in Venice.

Great Tour of Doge's Palace with Sara - This tour is a perfect way to see both the Doge's Palace and take a gondola ride.
Sara was our guide, and she was fantastic. We appreciate when a tour guide is both knowledgeable and passionate about the history of their city, and this was so true for Sara.
We left with a greater understanding of the Doge and the power and history of Venice when it was a republic. Also, by having the gondola ride at the end, Sara was able to help us go to the right spot and get on the boat.

Excellent tour! Very informative! - Tour was excellent! Our tour guide was so informed and passionate about teaching us the Venetian history. So much to learn! It was very easy meeting up with the guide, we had a restroom break in the middle, it was perfect. The gondola ride at the end was a cherry on top.

Boring and expensive - Tickets for the Dodge palace cost €25 each and a gondola ride €39 each. This is a very expensive and was a very boring tour.
Miriam was our guide and this was her first tour of the Dodge palace.
My 80 year old relative asked how many steps and she said there were 2 flights. This was not true. There are hundreds of steps over many flights. She also said there was a lift but we didn’t see it and weren’t offered it.
The tour was dull and there was no opportunity to buy a drink between the end of the tour and the gondola ride.
