Bravo! - Fantastic opportunity to experience an opera! It was fun to have each act in a new room, and the singers were excellent. You get a glass of prosecco or melon juice between acts 1 and 2. Even though we attended in October the space was quite warm and stuffy - lots of men ditching their sports coats and ladies removing shawls and scarves. Dress code is “casual elegant”. My husband wore cargo pants and a collared shirt, and I wore slacks and a nice blouse. This was pretty typical, though some women really dressed up for the occasion. No food is available for sale. A fun little adventure to find the location. As others have mentioned, Google Maps takes you to the wrong place.

Traveling Opera - This was an amazing performance! Would see it again. My husband wept during the 2nd act. The musician’s and singer’s were outstanding. Also very organized and the ladies and gentleman at the front were kind.

Opera up close and personal - Highly recommended! As others have noted, this is opera in an up-close, personal, and intimate setting. During our visit, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi was compellingly performed. Not being Italian speakers or regular fans of opera, we benefitted from having read a summary of the opera’s story beforehand. The glass of Prosecco/juice during the first intermission was a nice touch. Our only big complaint was the temperature in the building, which was well above 25C/77F. Also, the seating is “first-come first-served” and the first room was difficult to see the performers because it is long, while the following 2 rooms allowed us to all see the performers and really feel like we were immersed in the performance. It would be more impactful if they could fix the seating in the first room to allow for a similar experience.

Delightful experience in the 14th Century - Great experience in 14th Century palazzo - saw Rigoletto (circa 1850 debut in Venice) - excellent performers/performance - close up with the singers - piano and strings - all acoustic- move to different rooms between acts - high ceilings - glass of prosecco - quick view from balcony of canal at night - brief - atmospheric when lit by candlelight - not too difficult to find - quiet walking back - cool.

The jewel in the crown of Venice - Traviata is a beautiful opera, and it is taken to new heights in this unique performance. Three powerful voices complemented by excellent musicians in an extraordinary setting have created a memory of Venice that will never fade.

Great performance but be careful of the prosecco glasses! - This was our second time experiencing a different opera there. Excellent performance in a delightful setting. Just one problem: during intermission when people were placing down their unfinished prosecco, others were picking them up thinking they were fresh glasses! It was so crowded I couldn’t find anyone to help stop this awful thing from happening! Please fix this situation!

Well done but a bit hot and uncomfortable. - This was our first opera experience and while we found the performances terrific, the environment was very hot and the seats a bit uncomfortable. We found ourselves shuffling in our seats as we sweat throughout despite shorts and a light shirt. The English translation was helpful but the show did drag due to the discomfort. Act 3 of Rigoletto was definitely the highlight.
