• Doge’s Palace - Upon entering the Palace, you will pass through the grand courtyard and admire the intricate details of the famous Golden Staircase. Inside, visit the halls where the Duke (Doge) and his Council governed the Serene Republic, surrounded by numerous artistic masterpieces, and uncover the political history of Venice and its people. Marvel at paintings by some of the most renowned artists of the Italian Renaissance, including the world’s largest oil painting by Tintoretto.
• Ponte dei Sospiri - Crossing the iconic Bridge of Sighs, you will arrive at the new prisons. The bridge was named by the English poet Lord Byron, likely referring to the last sighs of prisoners who glimpsed the lagoon and Venice from the bridge’s window before being imprisoned.

Join a professional guide for a combined tour, beginning with an exploration of the buildings in the square, followed by a visit inside the Doge’s Palace “Palazzo Ducale,” which was once the home of the Doge, the city’s elected leader.

The tour proceeds to Saint Mark’s Basilica, a majestic symbol of the lagoon that preserves the city’s history and the relics of Saints.

At 1:00 pm, the first part of the tour concludes, allowing approximately 2 hours of free time to explore Saint Mark’s Square, enjoy lunch (not included), or visit the Correr Museum, which is included with the Doge’s Palace ticket.
