Waking tour and gondola ride - Very good tour and guide was informative and funny. Interesting to see the little back streets and gain some history and facts about Venice ending with a gondola ride through the narrower canals which was so peaceful and enjoyable would recommend this tour.

Great way to see Venice - Our guide was great. He gave us historical information but also engineering facts that pertain to how the city was built. He was prompt and took us into areas we might not have found on our own.

Loved it!!! Five stars! - It was wonderful! We took a walk around the city and then took a Gondola ride. It was much less expensive than other gondola rides quoted us, which was 200 euros. We eventually got tired of quibbling with gondoliers about it. One even chased us down the square saying “what did you expect!?!” Well, I expected them to follow the law and charge us 80 euros. So that was why we chose this offering from Viator. Considering the cost of a gondola ride and the cost of a wonderful tour guide, we felt we more than got our money’s worth from Viator. One thing that Viator does not tell you is that when you go to the meeting place, go see the person in the window with the microphone. They will look at your Viator reservation and give you audio sets along with your gondola ride tickets. You will need your audio sets to hear your guide when they call the group together. Otherwise, you might miss it. Another thing to consider is that the boats hold 5 people. So if you have 5 people and you want a private ride, you don’t have to pay the cost of a private ride because it will just be your group of 5 people anyway. Hope this helps! Enjoy your stay in Venice!

Don’t miss hidden Venice! - This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was so warm and knowledgeable and made the city come to life! We learned the history of the city and the hidden places in Venice. Loved learning about the Jewish ghetto. Highly recommend.

Alley Walking - The Gondola ride was perfect. The walking tour not so much...our guide did not have a flag to follow and walked swiftly thru the streets turning corners...we lost communication. We had an elder couple that fell behind and we felt responsible for them, she didn't care, even when asked to slow down....A few points she spent to much time on & lost our interest.

Never Again. - The walking tour was ok, informative and lasted about an hour. The guide like most Venetians was not that friendly. In the Gondola ride we were treated like cattle. If you think it’s going to be a romantic ride think again. It’s 5 to a boat and only 2 of you get a front facing view. The other 3 sit sideways. Well at least it’s off the bucket list.

Basically a waste of time - Between the audio quality and the impenetrable accent of the guide, I shut off the audio after the first 15 minutes. If you're going to have an "English Language" tour, how about have a guide who can make himself understood in English?
