The tour begins early in the morning from the center of Thessaloniki, heading towards Ancient Vergina, also known as ‘Aegae’ in ancient times.
Participants will have the chance to enter the Tomb of King Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. With the guidance of our professional guide, you will delve into the Hellenic period, starting at the museum where you can admire the Macedonian treasures and golden artifacts from the royal tomb.
Following a brief coffee break, the journey continues to Veria, a town rich in religious history. There will be free time to explore the local cuisine during the lunch break.
