Must do in Verona! - Absolutely loved it! Maria is a great story teller and full of historical insights. Enjoyed walking and listening to her. It was extra bonus because I love architecture and that she shared different era and how the architecture reflected the time period! She was very kind to take pictures of us and one of the standby asked her question about Romeo’s house and she was kind enough to offer her the info. See?! She should have signed up! It is so much more enjoyable when you hear the historical background instead of trying to figure out on your own. Totally worth it!

Best tour we’ve had - Fantastic tour, our guide was absolutely great. She explained the whole story not the movie, while walking around the streets & pointing out everything. It was the most satisfying tour we’ve had.

Romantic walk - María Pía made the tour super interesting for the teenagers. Very clear explanation in uncrowded and beautiful streets. The girls who had also seen the movie Letters to Juliet for the trip were delighted!

Way More Than Just Juliet's Home - We thought we were just going to enjoy a nice tour of Juliet's home, but got so much more. The history of the area, being advised that we were walking on ancient fossils in the marble on the ground, and then looking up at the different centuries and identifying each style of architecture was very helpful for the rest of our time throughout Italy. Verona was so much more than we expected. This was easily the most informative tour we did in any city in Italy, we did 6 tours. Our guide was very entertaining, funny, had a great understandable accent, and we appreciated the earpiece while she spoke in her microphone. The only drawback was our schedule and we had to leave early just as she was wrapping up. Highly recommend this great tour.

Romantic History of Verona, Romeo & Juliete and "Letters to Juliete" & "Skip the Line"! - If you love history, architecture, Romeo and Juliet, or the movie Letters to Juliet, this is the perfect tour for you! Maria was the perfect Tour Guide! As we walked through Verona, she shared the city's historical importance, explained the architecture, told the true story of Romeo e Giuletta, and showed filming locations for the movie "Letters to Juliet." Even though the line to see Juliete's courtyard was 4-5 blocks long, Maria had a secret "Skip the Line"!!!. At the end of the tour, she took us to the restaurant in the movie "Letters to Juliet," and we made lunch reservations. It was an amazing tour, and Maria was a wonderful hostess to Verona.

Perfect for history and Shakespeare lovers - A very interesting tour which provided information on the history of the arena and locations of Romeo and Juliet. The guide was very passionate and gave a complete story of the famous lovers. The locations were also great - the only downside was we didn’t get as much time at Juliet’s house. However her statue and balcony were beautiful and it was incredible to see them in real life.

Not what we were expecting - I booked this tour based on the Romeo and Juliet story but was disappointed. Firstly, on the night before, we were asked to combine with another tour which was apparently “actually an upgrade”. When we arrived at the meeting point the guide was late which caused some concerns for our family and the other family making up the group. Although our guide was passionate about Verona and knew his history, his presentation style was a bit hard to follow at times. I was disappointed not to learn more about the actual Romeo & Juliet story.
