A must do experience - Honestly the best vineyard excursion ever. Roberto and Sophia are brilliant hosts and guides. You learn a little, you taste a little and you love a lot! A brilliant experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience - Reservations were easy to make and we arrived 15 minutes before tour left. Our guide, Manon, was friendly, knowledgeable, an excellent driver and she spoke English, French and Italian. There was one other couple besides the 2 of us. The scenery along the drive was beautiful. The winery she selected was small and intimate. The owner sat with us and we enjoyed 5 bottles of wines among the 5 of us…of course, the driver does not drink. His valpolicella and amarone were delicious. Weather was sunny and mild. There was a sudden downpour when we arrived back in Verona and our guide graciously offered to drive us directly to our hotel, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. I would highly recommmed Pagus.

Lovely afternoon - This wine tour was wonderful. The lady that booked it was friendly and accommodating. Our guide was charming and friendly. We went up to view the area from a view point up in the hills which was stunning. We then visited a winery where the sisters who run it was so engaging and passionate about their vineyard. We had a tour and a chat and then they took us into the newly constructed wine tasting rooms, where we had plenty of room to get comfortable before being served lots of delicious wines, cheese, meats and breads, whilst listening to them giving us a talk on the wines themselves. We met some lovely people, enjoyed the calm and relaxed afternoon. I would highly recommend if you have a few hours free.

Best Valpolicella winery. - An excellent tour for wine lovers. The Pagus tour guides Anna and Francesco were very friendly and knowledgeable of the Valpolicella wine region. Savoia winery owner Marina was very welcoming and friendly. Marina explained the different processes for the Valpocella wine categories. The wine tasting was excellent.

Wonderful & Welcoming - We loved our tour and tasting, it was the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon in Verona. We were lucky enough to go and visit the Franchini winery, a small family-run business. Both our driver and the host of our wine-tasting were fantastic, very welcoming and we learned so much about the Valpolicella region and the wine itself. We sampled five different wines, you're also able to buy and ship bottles if there are any you really enjoy, but there was no pressure at all to do this. I'd really recommend this tour, rain or shine, it's a great way to spend half a day.

First class afternoon out. - Beautiful country side, visited lovely little church which had been prepared for a wedding, so even more quaint. Wine tasting excellent, owner very informative without being in the least pretentious. Snacks very generous so happy bunnies we were. Driver and vehicle excellent and scenery out of this world with Lake Garda way in the distance. First class.

Eat first! - The driver was so nice and was very knowledgeable.. the wine tasting was nice, but snacks were very slim. Just small bite. And not much..they need to express that in the tour. Without eating anything and it being 3 hours. And for the price. Needed to have some bread or something better. Besides that, it was enjoyable.

A nice experience but overpriced - A lovely experience. All staff, tour guide and wine expert were very polite, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome. A fantastic afternoon out and we were definitely richer for the experience. However, we were a little disappointed at how little wine you actually get. Around 6 small samples (probably a glass in total) considering we paid £77 per person, you don’t get much for your money. The first part of the tour was an insight into the history of the vineyards in the area and a visit to the grounds of a historic church. A nice touch, but it’s clearly a way to ‘beef up’ the tour and kill some time. Everyone in our group was eager to head to the winery and sample the wines. This part of the tour could be replaced with more time in the actual winery. All in all, a lovely 3.5 hour excursion, but over priced considering what you actually get.

Enjoyable tour but would prefer visiting more than one winery - We had an enjoyable time on this tour but I was left wanting more in terms of wine. Our guide/driver was nice. The first part of the tour takes you up to a cute little town where you will overlook the Valpolicella Valley (which is beautiful!), learn about the town, but not get to drink any wine. We did visit one winery, San Rustico, and we loved it! Our host was fantastic and we really enjoyed the wine and snacks (and the wine for purchase there was very reasonably priced)! We enjoyed the tour, but for that price and time commitment, seems like there's room for two wineries vs. one (or maybe even some wine at the shop / meeting place to kick off the day).
