Great tour experience! - The tour was great! Covered all the main spots in the palace. Anna was a great guide, and explained all the key points and history. I liked the fact that she did a bathroom break for everyone once we got inside. The palace is very crowded, so be prepared to walk among the people. Give yourself plenty of time after to explore the grounds and other buildings. It’s only about a 45 minute cab ride from Paris center. Can easily spend a whole day at Versailles. There are many food options.

Great tour of a beautiful place. - Guide met us at the allocated place, audio equipment worked well, our original guide was replaced and he was very passionate about the history of the Palace of Versailles but could be a little hard to understand sometimes. The tour was very good and I would recommend it. Versaille is easy to get to from Paris via train.

Great tour for all ages! Ask for Sergio as your guide, trust me. - Our guide Sergio was great!! My fiancé and I did the 1.5 hour chateau tour and really it was educating, fun, and not dragged out like some of the other tours we did here in France. We are in our late 20s and were by far the youngest in our group (mostly 60-70 year olds). Sergio kept it quick, funny, and educating. Sergio knew all the ins and outs of the chateau, all the good/bad photo ops, and did not let anyone deviate the tour (whether it was an older member of our tour or a young kid running around disturbing visitors. Highly recommend the tour and Sergio as a package.

Excellent visit with very knowledgeable tour guide - We had a very interesting tour of the palace with guide Nils. Nils was very calm and just what we needed as the palace was very very crowded with lots of people jostling to see and photograph everything. Nils was also very knowledgeable about the history of the palace and the Kings and Queens who had lived there.
We had a few non-English speaking members of our tour and Nils was able to accommodate them as well.
Allow plenty of time - this place is huge beyond your wildest imagination.

A beautiful and interesting palace tour; don’t miss the gardens! - Although we experienced record high temperatures, the guided tour of the palace and our garden stroll was very good. Our guide’s sound system sometimes had static so his interesting stories were hard to discern at times.

Versailles Tour - The experience was just okay. We had to wait 20-30 minutes to get inside, so it didn’t feel like we “skipped the line.” Then it was pretty chaotic when we got inside - way too many people. This is definitely not for anyone that is uncomfortable in crowded spaces. Our tour guide was friendly, but our group wasn’t super captivated. May have been an off day….
Save your money for a golf cart rental to tour the gardens.

Too crowded, hard to understand commentary of guide - It’s an amazing place to see but it was far too crowded. We were disappointed with our guide as she was difficult to understand. English was not her first language (Japanese), and then with her French accent it was impossible to understand her words. She rushed us through the house with odd commentary and awkwardly joking and trying to include us but it didn’t go over well with the teens she embarrassed. Viator didn’t issue vouchers or tickets which made us uneasy. At Versailles you can’t enjoy the gardens in the heat, and when you need to rent carts or bikes it’s supper unorganized and expensive and hard to do. Wasn’t worth our money due to bad guide.

So crowded could barely see anything. Seemed like a fire hazard at many points - So crowded. Kids could see nothing. Should not have so many people at once. Really looked forward to this tour. Took an expensive cab ride to get there also. So disappointed
