Explore Versailles in a unique way - on a bike! This is the ideal method to appreciate Versailles’ vast gardens and you’ll get to experience usually overlooked highlights of Versailles like Marie Antoinette’s rustic Hameau, the Petit Trianon, and the Grand Trianon. You can also look forward to a picnic by the Grand Canal before touring the Palace of Versailles. Versailles, positioned just 16 kilometers/12 miles away from Paris, is our meeting spot near a metro station within Paris before we start our expedition. From this point, we’ll board the suburban train (~30 minutes) and grab our bikes situated opposite the train station.
- If a children’s bike is required, you must advise at time of booking.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
- You will cover an area of approximately 10 miles on a relatively flat terrain. The ride is leisurely and therefore suitable for all levels of fitness.
- Child seats are available if requested at the time of booking
- Tandem bikes are available for children aged 10 years and younger.
- All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Highly Recommend! - This was such a highlight of our trip to Paris. Annie was our guide and she was so informed and interested in the history of Paris and Versailles. The whole process was seamless from beginning to end, and we always felt well taken care of. Overall great experience, highly recommend!

Great Day! - A fantastic tour! Annie, our guide, was truly amazing. She was so knowledgeable about history and was able to answer all our questions. Annie was also very helpful with my 81-year-old mom who had a little trouble getting used to her e-bike. Overall, it was a fantastic day and I'm grateful to Annie for making the day extra special. I hightly recommed this tour!

Best part of our trip! - Best part of our trip! Really enjoyed the trip to Versailles. It was relaxing riding around in the bikes enjoying the scenery and enjoyed our picnic as well as the history of the buildings and grounds.

Awesome tour - We had an awesome tour with Soto today! We went to Versailles and went to a market to pick up lunch. We then rode our bikes around the gardens and got some great info from Soto. Then had a picnic lunch and ended with the chateau self guided tour. Would definitely recommend a tour with Soto!

Great way to experience Versailles. - The bike tour was a great way to experience Versailles. Shopping in the market and having a picnic on the beautiful grounds of Versailles was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was very engaging, funny, and knowledgeable. We got so much more out of the day, then simply touring the palace. It was great for our family with girls aged 13 and 10. Highly recommend this tour.

Incredible Versailles Bike Tour – A Day to Remember! - We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Versailles Bike Tour. Despite the hot summer day, the bike ride was breezy and enjoyable, with beautiful views and well-paced stops that made the entire trip feel effortless.
Our guide, Bartek, was a standout! He brought such a great, positive energy to the day—super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the history and beauty of Versailles. He made the entire experience engaging and fun, adding fascinating insights without overwhelming us with too much information.
One of the highlights was picking up delicious treats from the local market and enjoying a picnic by the Grand Canal.
The Hameau de la Reine was a hidden jewel tucked within the grandeur of Versailles—a serene, storybook village that feels plucked from a fairytale dream.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, active, and informative way to explore Versailles. Thanks again to Bartek and the team for a fantastic day!

Bike tour was great but the palace was to crowded. - The bike tour was fun and our guide was highly knowledgeable of French history and its kings. Riding around the grounds was easy and we saw more than walking. The castle was beautiful but way too crowded. Sometimes to the point it was not enjoyable.

Highly Recommend - Our guide was personable, fun and really knew the history. Our tour had a few hiccups (people late for the tour, broken bikes) so we were a bit rushed at times. We enjoyed the relaxing pace of the bike ride and picnic lunch more than the palace, as it was packed with visitors. We gave 4 stars due to broken bikes that took some of our time but overall it was a great experience!
