This is a great tour, a... - This is a great tour, a dive into the fascinating history of the times; without our guide, it would have been just another palace but she brought it to life in a fun and interesting way, showing how much she loved what she does. It was much more than I expected and more. And the restaurant she took us to was amazing, great food and staff.

Our day at Versailles - We have the greatest time ever! Roseanne our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared with us so much of the history of the palace properties and gardens . We had a wonderful lunch, roseanne even took the time to translate the menu for us. All day we never felt like we were being rushed. one hundred percent satisfied!

Versailles with my sister-best activity of our paris trip - Excellent way to see Versailles. The Palace, gardens plus the summer palaces are so far apart have an excellent guide to show you the entire area was invaluable. Our guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. Lunch was an enjoyable experience as well.

The only way to visit Versailles; skip the lines, door-to-door transport, and expert guide to make it the best trip ever - Zara made both our transportation and our visit to Versailles, a Trianon, and the petite Trianon such an immersive pleasure! Booking this private guided tour was one of the best decisions during our trip to Paris. Zara picked us up at our hotel and began lovely and informative conversation about not only Versailles but details along the journey. Her guide through Versailles and the surrounding sites was superb, with excellent knowledge and willingness to delve into deeper questions and perspective. While Versailles is a very popular destination, and can be crowded, Skip, the line entry was afforded with Zara’s professional guide pass, and all we had to do was follow her lead. She also provided wireless headphones through which she was able to give us details and converse throughout the tour without interruptions from others and the loud environment when in the smaller spaces. Zara also patiently and expertly took photos of us and various locations so that we would be able to experience our trip again and viewed with family and friends. When we finished with the Versailles tour proper, Zara took us to a wonderful bistro within walking distance, where they had a table prepared for us (Le Petit Bouillon Versailles). The meal was wonderful, not rushed, and when we were finished, Zara was waiting to continue our journey. We then continued the tour, walking off the delicious lunch, in the gardens and palatial homes of Louis the 14th and his successors and their concubines and wives, including ultimately Marie Antoinette. Finally, Zara sent us with directions on our own to enjoy the English gardens created by Marie Antoinette, including the Hamlet the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed every minute of the day. When we finished our explorations, Zara was waiting for us in the Tesla with cool air and bottled waters. She then carried us back to our hotel, and we enjoyed more pleasant and well informed conversation along the way. Please take our advice: if you want to see Versailles in a way that you can actually enjoy the experience and avoid the crowds and time sucking-lines and audio guides, book this tour and ask Zara!

Great guide! - Zara was a fantastic guide. She was informative about Parisian history and helpful all day, making our trip to Versailles a once in a lifetime experience.

Versailles Palace - Our tour of Versailles was even better than we had expected. Our guide, Ricardo, was SO knowledgeable and personable. He answered all of our questions, he told us SO many back stories and made us feel like we were actually there with Marie Antoinette and her court. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour . . . Viator never disappoints!

Best tour guide ever! - OMG! Seriously, if you book this tour, ask for Rosanne. She was, hands down, the very best tour guide I've ever hired in any country. Knowledgable, thoughtful, and (as I told her) excellent at her job. I toured the palace and grounds with my teenage daughters (who also loved Rosanne) and it was the highlight of our week in Paris. I will be back with my wife and we will plan to hire Rosanne for every tour she offers.

A magical day in Versailles - Fantastic day with a wonderful guide. Time to explore and learn about the inside and outside of this beautiful place. Our guide was friendly and well informed and answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would not hesitate to use Viator again.

Perfect day from hotel... - Perfect day from hotel pickup, drive to Versailles, skip the line, guided tour of the estate, lunch in a little French restaurant, king and queens private palaces and finished with drive back to our doorstep.
