Begin the adventure by gathering at a central location in Paris and taking a bus ride to Versailles. Upon reaching the destination, enter the palace through a dedicated entrance. Embark on an interactive guided tour to explore the grandeur, elegance, and rich history of the palace.
During the 90-minute tour, visit the State Apartments, the King’s Bedroom, and the iconic Hall of Mirrors. Gain insights into the prominent figures of the French monarchy, from King Louis XIV to Marie Antoinette, and learn about the intriguing historical events that unfolded within the palace’s walls.
After exploring the palace, enjoy some leisure time wandering through the stunning French Gardens. Opt for a guided tour of the gardens if desired. Choose the Full-day option to explore Marie Antoinette’s private estate and her controversial hamlet. Conclude the experience by boarding the bus for the return trip to central Paris.
- For safety reasons, children under 6 years old are NOT permitted on this tour. Please do not arrive with children under 6, as participation will be denied.
- Please arrive at the meeting point at the time stated on your voucher. In case of late arrival for check-in or missing the bus, we cannot guarantee access to the palace. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
- The palace gardens are free from November to March, so no tickets are required during this period. (Prices are adjusted accordingly) There are no musical or fountain shows during these months.
- No Onboard Restrooms: Please note that there are no toilet facilities available on the bus.
- In the rare event that the bus transfer cannot operate due to unforeseen circumstances, public transport will be used instead, accompanied by a GetYourGuide representative.
- The fullday option (with Trianon Estate) involves significant walking and is not recommended for those with mobility issues
- Please note that the duration of the activity may vary depending on traffic conditions

Excellent guide, informative tour! - We loved the half day tour of Versailles. We appreciated how much detail our guide, Marion, shared about the palace, the royals, the way of life, and the historical timeline. The pick up and drop off spot was conveniently located near the Eiffel Tower, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Le Presles beforehand. Highly recommend!

Versailles in the Rain - Very nice and informative tour of the Palace.
Unfortunately I would not recommend the gardens in the winter and the rain; not much to see and you will get far too wet.

If you miss Versailles, you must go back to France to fix the mistake - Fine guide….Phenomenal place.
You can miss other great spots like the Eiffel Tower or a trip on a Seine riverboat, That will must be a big loss. If you miss Versailles you miss multiple great tours in one,,,,history lessons, astounding art in painting and sculpture, beautiful gardens, political stories, sweeping architecture.
This one reauires a tour guide if you want to get more from the trip than just gawking.

Great tour! Salome was engaging and amazing. Martha was kind and knowledgeable. Clean bus, smooth experience. - We did the Palace of Versailles tour with bus transport, and overall I really enjoyed the experience.
Our bus guide, Salome, was absolutely outstanding. She was engaging, knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. She set the tone for the entire day and made the 45-minute ride feel like it went by in no time. Her storytelling was lively and easy to follow, and she kept everyone interested the whole way, truly a highlight of the tour.
Once at Versailles, we were handed off to Martha, who was clearly very knowledgeable about the palace and its history. I genuinely liked her and appreciated how much information she shared.. it was obvious she really knows the subject matter. At times, she was too soft-spoken, which made it difficult to hear her clearly even with the headset turned all the way up, and the pacing felt more reserved. That said, her expertise really came through, and I still found the tour informative and worthwhile.
Overall, the experience was smooth, efficient, and well organized. The bus was clean and comfortable, everything ran on time, and the company handled logistics seamlessly. I truly enjoyed the tour from start to finish and would absolutely recommend it to others.

Very enjoyable trip to the Palace of Versailles - The bus ride to Versailles was comfortable and the tour guide informative. The handover to the local Versailles guide and entry to the palace was very smooth and easy. The Versailles guide was excellent, the tour was informative and interesting. Once the tour had finished and we had free time to explore, it would have been useful to have a map.

Definitely find a... - Definitely find a bathroom before travel. No facilities on bus and only public facility a block away (self cleaning takes time).

Disappointing Customer Service - This was a nice trip to Versailles with an informative tour and a great guide who had no responsibility for the rest of the day.
That said, it was raining very hard all day. We were told to be back at the bus by 5, and our entire tour group (about 20 people) were standing in the parking lot in a downpour by 4:45 waiting for a bus that didn’t arrive until 5. If the bus wasn’t going to come until 5, tell the participants so they aren’t standing outside in the rain. The expectation is that participants are supposed to arrive early so the bus can leave at the stated time. There are so many tours to Versailles, I’d go with a different company.
