Embark on a half-day tour of the Palace of Versailles and Gardens of Versailles, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Guided by an expert in French history, venture into the Palace of Versailles, the majestic residence where King Louis XIV formally established his court and administration in 1682. Absorb the grandeur of the palace’s Baroque architecture, appreciate its galleries overflowing with art, and get a glimpse into the lifestyles of some of the most notorious aristocrats.
- The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop (the tour departs a few minutes later). In case of late arrival for check-in, we cannot guarantee access to the palace. Fees will apply if you wish to reschedule for a later tour.
- The scheduled access time can be delayed on peak days due to various safety controls established by the Versailles Palace.
- The tickets for the Musical Show or Fountain Show are included. You will be able to watch the shows during the tour and stay in the gardens after your half-day guided tour has finished.
- Baby strollers may be refused at the entrance of the palace.
- The trains are not running between the stations “PARIS AUSTERLITZ” and “Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche” from the 15th of July to the 23rd of August. There are 2 options with public transport: 1. Take a train to the Versailles Rive Droite station (Take line L via Saint Lazare or La Défense) then it’s a 25-minute walk to the meeting point. 2. Take a train to Versailles Chantiers station (Take line N via Montparnasse or line U via La Défense) then it’s a 15-minute walk to the meeting point.
- The Palace tour lasts 1.5 hours, but add 30 minutes for tickets and security checks.

Great tour - Sarah was excellent. Be sure to get the garden tour as well. Get a tour guide, because otherwise, you won’t really know what you are looking at.

Informative and entertaining - We are usually not the “guided tour” kind of people but we were so happy we chose it. Gabriella our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the tour. Kept the group moving at the right pace and didn’t even miss a beat when I interrupted with questions. Highly recommended. Thank you for a fantastic day at Versailles. We left so much more informed than had we wondered alone.

Gardens are a wow! - Barbara was great. Plan for longer to see the gardens. They are spectacular! Lots of school kids in June so beware the extra time to get through the palace.

Do NOT Get Your Tour With Sergio - Our tour guide was Sergio from GetYourGuide. This guide was extremely rude and needs to work on his social skills. We were told that we were holding up the group (because I needed to do a diaper change and I clearly told him we'd catch up to the rest of the group), that we were not listening to him, that we didn't want to be there -- just a bunch of negativity from this tour guide. At one point, he didn't even want to speak his native language, spanish with one of our family members.
