Review & Tips - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our guided canoe trip on the upper Zambezi was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, the crew was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. They pointed out an amazing variety of wildlife—hippos, elephants, impala, monkeys, giraffes, crocodiles, and an incredible array of bird species. We felt completely safe the entire time and so well cared for. The guides were true professionals, creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining a strong focus on safety. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they made sure we stayed hydrated throughout the day. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide us. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a truly special adventure on the Zambezi! Tips: wear quick dry shorts, you get a little wet while rowing. Take sunscreen. Wear water shoes or sandals, take warm clothes for the morning ride (they kept our jackets in the truck when we went out on the water), take binoculars if you enjoy birds, the guides are good at spotting them. They provide dry bags if you don’t have one Go and enjoy !!!

Zambezi canoeing - My daughter and I had an unforgettable two-day, two-night canoeing adventure on the Zambezi River with Jerry, Prince, and their fantastic team. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully organized and expertly guided. We were picked up and driven to our starting point in Zambezi National Park, spotting wildlife along the way—a perfect introduction to the adventure ahead. After a thorough safety briefing, we set off on the river. The paddling was relaxed and enjoyable, made even better by the great conversations with our knowledgeable and friendly guides. Along the way, we encountered crocodiles, hippos, and an impressive variety of birds. We paused for lunch on the riverbank before continuing our journey to the campsite. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the rest of the crew and treated to refreshing drinks and a delicious meal. The camp was a good balance of comfort and wilderness—tents with real beds, a proper toilet, and a bush shower. That night, we fell asleep under a canopy of stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wild. After a hearty breakfast the next morning, we embarked on another memorable day of canoeing. This leg of the trip included a few gentle rapids, adding a touch of excitement before we returned to camp. Throughout the entire journey, the team was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The equipment was well-maintained, and every detail was taken care of. It was truly enjoyable experience that we’ll cherish—and one we recommend to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable adventure.

Brilliant day canoeing - We had a brilliant day canoeing on the mighty Zambezi with Prince and his colleagues. They picked us up bright and early and we drove into Zambezi National Park for around 90 mins. When we reached the launch site, they served us with breakfast as they got the crafts ready. We canoed for around 2 hours and saw crocodiles, hippo and lots of different birds including fish eagles, African bee eaters, lots of kingfishers and many more. We negotiated a couple of grade 1 rapids before returning to the bank for lunch. There was a small break mid way to stretch legs. The crew were professional and the kit was well maintained. It's quite an experience and one I'd certainly recommend. Thanks again Prince.

Up the Zambezi - I enjoyed wonderful half-day trip with Gerald (guide), Malvin (driver), and Prince my co-paddler. The weather was splendid, pick up and return timing conveniently worry-free and spot on, and the company entertaining and high spirited. The drive to the put in was an extra benefit, as we got to spend some extra time ogling several elephants, monkeys and assorted antelopes. The river was high and fast moving, making for some easy paddling and gentle rapids. If you enjoy being on the water, you won’t regret this trip!

Canoeing down the Zambezi - We had a fun canoeing down the Zambezi. We (me, my wife and 8 year old son) had an amazing time. We felt completely safe and guide was very informative. The food after was great.

In touch with nature and afloat - Our kayaking experience on the upper Zambezi was a highlight of 4 days in Vic Falls. The day started with an early drive through the game reserve and some game spotting, taking us to a breakfast spot on the river bank where we dined on a feast while the team prepared the crafts. A pod of hippos watched us warily from the deep and fishermen drifted past on a magoro. A gentle safety briefing followed and then we were off. I will tap into the chilled feeling of cruising downstream with the current taking in amazing birdlife and the occasional elephant when I return to life’s relentless pace at home. The feeling was everything I needed. Prince gave us personalised service from the start and, when an injury left me on crutches for the trip, was undeterred by my reduced abilities. He visited our lodge to take stock of what I was capable of and was ready to make accomodations which were kind and insightful. Jerry was a kind, knowledgable guide with a great sense of humour. We felt safe, nourished and very very lucky.

Fun river paddle - This was a really beautiful little river tour and was definitely a high light for us while we were in Vic Falls. Unfortunately, we hit it on a very windy morning, so it turned into a bit of a paddle battle against a strong headwind, which made it a little more challenging for sure. With that said, I honestly think any fitness level could easily enjoy this tour. The guides were happy to go at any pace and made sure everyone was safe and doing okay. There were a couple of places to play in small rapids or take a softer smoother route, it was all based on your own personal comfort level. They served breakfast and lunch and had a cooler full of cold drinks waiting for us at the end. Prince, Lyod, Mike, Malvin and Gerald- I really hope I got everyone's names right, our trip was a bit of a whirlwind so my apologies if I didn't. You guys were all awesome!! Thanks for such a great experience. I will highly recommend to any friends I have coming your way 😉
