Amazing animal interactions! - What a great wildlife experience! We got very close and were able to interact with several rescued animals. Getting close to Hyenas, watching lions feed, and getting to feed some of the animals were highlights.

A.W.E.S.O.M.E - If you are in Victoria Falls and want a totally unique opportunity to get up close to animals and watch lions being fed then you really need to pay a visit to this wildlife sanctuary. Liki, our guide cares deeply about the animals and gave us the opportunity to feed ostrichs and walk with hyenas. Fascinating and scary at the same time. But the highlight was watching the 'feasting of the beasts' and watching 3 fully grown lions come charging down a hill towards you and their breakfast which is placed just a few feet away (you are safe in a hide). It happens so quick and you'll only get 1 photo off before they reach their food. Totally breathtaking to watch and you can feel the lions roar vibrating in your bones. A must do activity that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Interesting Experience - Really interesting to see how they rescued animals and their efforts to protect them. Loved the walk with the hyenas and hand feeding the ostriches. The feeding of the lions was an interesting insight into the capacity of the lions to devour meat. You are safe as you are in a concrete bunker. I certainly enjoyed my time at this excursion.

Family trip - This was an amazing experience! Liki is a great guide and knows his stuff. We got up close to lions, hyenas and sable. We also saw various birds. This was our introduction to a safari on our first day in Victoria Falls. It’s a bit different to other safaris as there are fences and the safari vehicle is caged, for good reasons. The animals are treated well in a habitat not too unlike the wild.

Wow a must do. - Liki was an amazing guide. We enjoyed the lionesses and getting close to the hyenas. The lion feeding was incredible and what a bonus feeding the ostrich. I highly recommend this adventure.

Amazing lion experience - Literally the most amazing experience of our Africa trip - to be able to get that close to the lions and hyenas was incredible and to see the lions feed was awesome. And knowing that it is all part of a conservation programme makes even better. I could not recommend this more highly!

Worth the trip as an add-on experice to Chobe. - Fun experience and different from other safari drives you might go on. This is a sanctuary so the animals are fenced, and you won't see as many animals as you would see at Chobe, but it it offers some unusual experiences. Getting out of the truck and seeing the hyenas from 3 feet away is fantastic. The lion feeding is something to behold. They come charging down the hill and really go at it. Feeding the ostriches was fun. We went to the afternoon experience so they prepared a light homemade snack for us after the drive. The driver/guide was very informative. The truck could be tricky to get into if you have limited mobility. This experience offered a great "add-on" experience to the Chobe drive.

Even though it says it is... - Even though it says it is sanctuary, only handful of animals were actually rescued animals. Maybe I misunderstood.

Sad we didn't get picked up - We booked our adventure and they never showed up. After a lot of searching we found a phone number to contact and they responded 1 1/2 hours after our appointed time. They stated they were closed the day before and did not check their bookings. Our booking was for 2:30pm so it was sad we couldn't go.
