Upon arriving at Vidigal Square, a local guide and resident of the area will warmly welcome you, sharing a wealth of cultural and historical insights.
We will take a local and safe transport option (MOTOTAXI or VAN costing 7.00 reais each way) to reach the start of the trail. (ENTRANCE TO THE TRAIL IS 10.00 PER PERSON)
We will embark on an easy/moderate level trail of 1.5km, taking approximately 50 minutes to climb. The path is well-marked, allowing us to appreciate the local flora and fauna. We will pass by several viewpoints offering breathtaking views.
Throughout the tour, the guide will share information and stories about the region.
After about an hour of walking, we will enjoy the most spectacular view of the city, with several tourist landmarks in the background such as Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, and the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema, and Copacabana, along with the entire southern area.
