Orgel concert Stephansdom Wenen - Well organized, good place indication, lighting could be dimmed, for more intimate atmosphere. But that does not diminish the quality of the concert.

It's good, but cold weather is essential in winter - You can hear a pipe organ concert in that building for this price. I think it's a good value. However, it's a space that doesn't have heating (if it does, it's not working very well), so it's very cold if you don't wear heavy clothes. The cold weather in Vienna has really cooled to the bottom.

Concert at St. Stephan’s dom. - The concert itself was great! But the man announced that we can’t make any photos or videos during concert, but we can make them later. So, we enjoyed the concert and wanted to make a couple of pictures and selfi with my sister because it’s been a long time we have seen each other. BUT!!! The 2 man who were standing at the entrance kept pushing us and telling us:We are closed! We are closed!” While the whole crowd was still going on… well…with attitude it’s not worth almost 80$ for 2 people. They spoiled all the mood.

Good but not great - My wife and I went to the organ concert because of all the cathedrals we have been in, it’s few that you get to hear the organ unless you attend a service, and we are not Catholic so we don’t get that opportunity much. The organ was amazing. The man playing it was well versed in the organ by what was written about him. My wife thought it was boring. I have to admit, I did too for most pieces that were played. There was not really anything played that sounded familiar. I listen to just enough classical music to feel like I would at least recognize something! Overall, I’m glad I went but if you’re not into the organ and its sounds, it’s probably not enjoyable. I’m glad I sat where I could see the organist play. Many people had a seat forward or to the side of the organ and they just sat there listening. I think that would be worse.

Huge disappointment! - From Bach and all other famous organ music composers, the organizers of organ concerts in the Cathedral in April 2025, for some reasons, choose some obscure composers from the 19th century that most people have never heard of. And they did not provide details about what will be played when you are buying tickets on-line! The giant magnificent instrument was used for something similar to an 'art installation' of toilets and broken pipes... Huge disappointment!

Great venue, skilled musicians, poor music - Musicians technically very clever but music was desperately boring. If Classic FM appeals to 50% and Radio 3 appeals to 20% then this music appeals to 5%

Viator ripped us off - There was no experience, Viator sold us tickets to a concert at St Stephan’s Cathedral that did not happen. No concert was ever even planned as we were told when we showed up with visitors tickets they sent us that looked real but were not

Would Have been fabulous BUT.. - It was beautiful scenery in the church BUT the section we sat in the sound was NOT working and so we/ all of the people in the back section of the assigned seats could NOT hear the music or the singing. It was so disappointing we were so excited to see and hear the concert. :) As we were on holiday visitng Vienna for just a couple of days.

Traumatic - We attended the concert with the organ that was extremely annoying and boring. Some people were leaving mid show, we chose to stay until the end out of common courtesy. Unless someone is really into church music there is no reason to go. The inside of the cathedral was amazing but you can visit it any other time. Don’t waste you money or your time.
