A great experience we... - A great experience we probably would have missed if I didn’t book in advance. A down time experience.

A great cultural experience - This was a really good experience. The concert was by a leading church organ player in Vienna. It lasted for an hour and consisted of about 6 individual pieces. The music was amazing as the organ is so big and powerful, it seemed to make the cathedral shake. The cathedral itself is very historic and provided the perfect background to the music. Everything was well organised and we didn't have to queue for long. We were easily able to find our seats. In conclusion, I would recommend this experience, especially if you enjoy organ music. You won't find much better.

excellent! - We did an xmas concert here on the 21st at 8 pm. We had front seating but got in later and thus did not get the front row experience we hoped. Nonetheless, the church is breathtakingly beautiful and the acoustics amazing. What a treat to listen to talented musicians playing in these stunning surroundings. One of the highlights of our trip!

An organ challenging the trumpets of Jericho - Once you accept that the program didn‘t feature traditional church organ pieces you would be overwhelmed by the spectrum of the organs sound, an experience not to be missed.

Awful! Wast of money! - It was okay….a 5/10 at best. The page turner for the organist missed his cues several times causing the organist to linger on notes. The composition choice was somber and boring. Ever hear of Vivaldi, Canon in D, Pachelbel? They didn’t even fire up the big pipe organ…..just the little one….and they started late! What a disappointment! Barely even felt the organ in my chest like we should have. Send this organist packing….when you have the acoustics of this fine cathedral you showcase the pipe organ. Felt like we were at a funeral! Attended a concert at St Peter and Paul Cathedral in Krakow 3 weeks ago for half the price….my heart was pumping….could feel the organ…excellent choice of composition, the organist was lively and spot on …crisp and clean…without a page turner and for half the price! Yawn!!! Save your money and go to Poland! For a fraction of the cost! You should be ashamed of this performance!!

TERRIBLE ORGAN CONCERT - Attended the organ concert, we didn’t expect much but this is just disappointing. Would’ve walked out if we weren’t sitting at the front. Tourist trap imo

Disappointing Advent event in Vienna's St. Stephen's Cathedral - The concert on December 23rd at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna was disappointing. The frame would be great. The program is not suitable for the general public. I am culturally very interested but that did not appeal to me, just too lofty !!!. Some visitors left the concert early. Surprisingly, if it hadn’t ended after 1 hour, my husband and I would have gone too.

Never again - 30 euro ticket to stay in the cold (understandably) and hear musicians who still seem to be in training (not understandably) and not see anything but monitors because of the columns (borderline the catch). Worst concert I've ever been to in Vienna.

Dull and unimaginative organ recital - Being a Christmas concert we expected a lively and uplifting evening. I attend many organ recitals in the UK but this was dull and uninspiring. The organist even made In Dulce Jubilo dreary! Quite a few people walked out before the end. In the city of Strauss and Mozart, this concert was extremely disappointing.
