Incredible - As a psychologist, it was emotional and meaningful to be there and see the place in person. It has a lot of history both from his family side and his practice, which made it even more interesting. It got a bit crowded with some school groups there, but still I was able to see and read everything. It is intense to read all of it, and to think about his days in that apartment, writing some of the most important work in Psychology. It is definitely worth the visit.

Very professional leadership - The tour of the Sigmund Freud Museum was very informative, comprehensive and very professional. We really liked her. The entire exhibition, and especially the special exhibition, also gave you a comprehensive overview.

Highly recommended - This is a very interesting and moving museum with far more to see and read than imagined. Allow at least 90 minutes and leave coats in the lockers as it is very warm.

Great insights and visuals - Great insights and guidance tours as well as lots to read. Loved seeing the waiting room and some equipment. I wanted more furniture, like his chair, but obviously a lot went to London when he exiled. Highly recommend this tour for any physiotherapy or history enthusiasts.

What a horrible time, this persecution of Jews - The largest piece is about what the family experienced during the persecution of the Jews last century. About Sigmund Freud's work you don't see much and certainly no depth, more the general principles. Definitely worth it if you are in Vienna.

Interesting, but could be more interactive. - It was interesting, but as a museum it lacks interactivity and doesn't really bring the topic to life. Lots of reading and some artefacts, which was interesting, but much of it focused on the war as opposed to Freud and his work. Very little of how the apartment would have been has been preserved or recreated to help your imagination. The bookshop downstairs also seemed to have just a general selection of psychology books you would find in most bookshops, rather than a curated selection.
I would visit alone or with another person, but as a group, you may find other attractions more suitable.

Total Ripoff… Rooms are mostly empty - This is a private museum, which is not even supported by the Freud foundation. Basically, it’s a series of empty rooms where Freud had his office and sitting area. The only interesting thing was clips of family movies.

Insignificant - I visited it with the school, nothing exceptional, except the strawberry cake from the adjacent bar.
