Really nice place to spend a few hours... - A really nice museum with an excellent collection of Vienna artists ca. 1900 including the classic Klimt and Schiele (amongst other nice art).

Amazed by Egon Schiele. - The museum have a great collection of art! From early paintings of Klimt to the extraordinary work of Egon Schiele. The restaurant offers good food and good service.

Simply great - Among other things, the exhibition showed that Schiele was a very strange man. For example, some depictions of women have recently been extremely sexist, even if they are painted confidently and respectfully. All in all, an excellent presentation of Schiele's diversity.

Great Museum for a Focused Visit of Schiele's Work - Visiting any museum is always a feat, because there is so much to see and take in. I know this may sound very "basic", but I loved the fact that you could visit a floor, exit, and, once rested, go on to the following floor without much hassle. I was mostly interested in Egon Schiele's work, so that was my focus here. The amount and quality of the work was exceptional.

Excellent exhibition - The exhibits and their presentation are excellent. Difficulty is handling the online ticket (coffee visit, interruption).

The Leopold Museum is a must-see. - The Leopold Museum should certainly not be missed on your list: must see. Not only is it a beautiful building but the exhibitions are really worth it. We saw Egon Schiele, a fantastic artist who sadly, along with his wife, died of Spanish Flu. We were short of time to visit the whole Museum but it is already on our list drill a next visit to that beautiful city of Vienna.

The booked tour (03.05.2025, 3 pm) was grottobad, unprofessional and very disappointing. - Great exhibition: Egon Schiele - last works. The booked tour (on 03.05.2025, 3 pm) was grottobad, unprofessional and very disappointing. Here I had promised myself a professionally qualified person who could tell something new, interesting beyond the information on the information boards. Instead, an elderly lady presented her own rather simple ideas about Egon Schiele and his motives. She repeatedly confused names and dates and often did not turn her attention to the audience, but set them up in the direction of the picture, so that it was difficult to follow her layman's remarks. That was so bad we left early.

This is the most disappointing experience in Vienna we had so far. Nothing to do with the exhibits but the way the staff is han - We bought tickets at 4:30PM. We were told the museum would be open until 9 PM. We tried to enter at 5:30 PM but the entry is free 6 PM to 9 PM. This We were not told. Now , we are waiting for 1/2 hour outside and there is nothing anyone can do about it. So , if you visit this museum, come first 6PM and it's free.
