- Hallstatt - Nestled between mountains and a lake, Hallstatt is celebrated as one of Europe’s most photographed villages. During your approximately 1.5-hour visit, you can visit the Skywalk 360m platform for breathtaking views, stroll along the Promenade into the vibrant town center with its many small shops. To enhance your visit, enjoy local delicacies and take a leisurely walk by Hallstatt Lake.
- Lake Wolfgang - The route from Hallstatt to Salzburg offers stunning panoramic views of the lakes in the Salzkammergut region. A photo opportunity will be provided at Lake Wolfgang in the town of Sankt Gilgen. Feel free to request additional short stops along this route to capture the picturesque Austrian lake scenery.
- Salzburg - The tour proceeds with a visit to Salzburg. Upon arrival, explore the UNESCO-protected Old Town, the Mirabell Palace Gardens, famous as a filming location for the “Sound of Music” movie and the “Do-Re-Mi” song, or enjoy a spectacular view of the city from the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Surrounded by mountains, Salzburg is renowned as Mozart’s birthplace, where you can try Mozart chocolate, exclusively available in Salzburg. After concluding the day in Salzburg around 17:30 - 18:00, the tour returns to your accommodation in Vienna, where your day tour began.

Unforgettable Tour of Austria - This was an absolutely unforgettable trip! It was only my wife and I, and we are so glad we booked this trip. If you are staying in Vienna and want an opportunity to explore more of Austria, especially the beautiful Alpine region, this trip will not disappoint. The views and places we visited were nothing short of stunning.
I also want to give a big shout-out to our guide, Darko, who was fantastic. He gave us wonderful information about not only how to maximize our experience driving around the country, but also some great tips on things to do in Vienna. He was very knowledgeable and very much a joy to have been with that day! Great trip!

A breathtaking day - Darko was a very warm and engaging tour guide with a lively sense of humor. We were especially impressed with how he offered suggestions and customized the tour to enhance our preferences and experiences. Hallstatt was breathtaking and we loved the opportunity to have time to explore it. The beauty of Salsburg was especially appreciated in our lunch atop the castle overlooking the Alps, suggested by Darko and a highlight of our tour. He made sure we visited Cafe Konditorei to buy the most authentic Mozart chocolates. The engaging rapport, to and from Vienna, made the travel time fly by. We really enjoyed our day of touring with Darko and would highly recommend him as a host for a tour.

Customizable itinerary with lots of flexibilty - Our driver/guide D was great. He was really flexible and let us decide where we wanted to spend the most time. He stopped at some off-the-beaten path places that were beautiful. We had lots of time to explore on our own. He kept us laughing the whole trip

Halstatt and Salzburg day tour - This was an amazing day tour - It was a full day traveling from Vienna but worth it. Halstatt may have been one of the most picturesque places we have seen ever. This trip is definitely worth doing.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Visiting Melk, Hallstatt, and Salzburg in one day was incredible, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish.
Our guide, Darko, truly made the experience exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, sharing so many interesting facts and stories along the way. His passion and enthusiasm really brought each destination to life.
The scenery was breathtaking—especially Hallstatt—and we had just the right amount of time at each stop without ever feeling rushed.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. If you get Darko as your guide, you’re in for a great experience!

Michael was amazing - Michael was very helpful and knowledgeable! It was great to have him to figure out everything for us. The towns were beautiful. We did skip Milk so we could spend more time in the other two towns. Beautiful and great way to relax after flying in the day before.
