Long drive, outstanding views - The views are amazing, despite the long travelling from Wien, it was totally worth the long drive. It was great for the guide to tell so many stories about the places and history of Wien and Austria

So worth the long trip! - We were really keen to visit Hallstatt during our trip to venue following recommendations. This trip was a perfect day out. The coach was extremely comfortable and our tour guide Lilly was absolutely brilliant. We really enjoyed the information and history she shared of Vienna, Austria, Hallstatt and other areas throughout the journey. The bus driver was great too and we felt in safe hands. The trip was about 12 hours but it was so worth the long day to see the beauty of Hallstatt and what it has to offer. Hallstatt is like something out of a fairytale and is utterly stunning. Be aware of the weather however as it was rainy and stormy when we visited (it was sunny and hot when we left Vienna), but many of the shops in Hallstatt sell umbrellas or ponchos. We highly recommend this day trip from Vienna!

Incredible - The bus trip amazing was! We made a couple of stops along the way, and when we finally reached Hallstatt, it was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend taking the tram up to the top for a panoramic view. It’s a must-do! And don’t forget to stroll through the charming town. There’s so much history and stunning scenery to take in. It’s a real gem!

Hallstatt tour with skywalk lift - My sister and I went to the daylong Hallstatt trip with sky walk lift option . The tour was well organized, and the bus was comfortable and fitted with air conditioning and charger options for cell phones. Our tour guide, Sophia was exceptional . It is not easy to continue as well as entertaining commentary for a good part of the day. She ran a good tour with excellent eye on time management . There is a fine line between being firm with stragglers( and every tour has some of those !) and yet keeping it professional . She managed it with great finesse The route to Hallstatt is extremely scenic and the villages look like cute, charming, storybook villages ! My only constructive feedback would be that currently the lift at sky walk is non functional and that should be declared upfront so that people with limited fitness / functionality can decide whether to do this tour or not. Because everyone who takes this tour does it so that they can get to the top of the skywalk and realizing that that is not possible only after you go there can be pretty disappointing. Otherwise, very well organized tour , would highly recommend it

Amazing experience - Staggering views, a few stops to make the long ride more bearable, an amazingly picturesque Hallstad. Our guide Sofia was really great, she managed the group always on time, she was a lot of fun and had great energy. Thank you, Sofia!

This is a good... - This is a good opportunity to explore Austria and learn a bit of history. We were in a bus (60pax) with only 1 guide, Dasha, she is amazing but we were too many people. A few guys did some selfish stuff but Dasha could handl it. The only complain I have is about the pick up at the hotel. The tour starts at 8am but I Received an email saying they would pick us up between 7:15 and 8am, but at 6:47am they Sent me a WhatsApp saying they would arribe at 7am. So not cool to play with us, I regret it, since I could walk 15 mins... my bad

Hallstatt is very nice place to see, but is it worth to sit more that 9 hours in the bus? - The area is very beatifull and interesting to see. The mini bus was comfortable. But there were 2 “but” in our case. 1. Guide was speaking quite a lot in the bus, but the sound was rather bad, and it was more like a noise, not like a story. Also, please keep in mindx that the guide is only in the bus, she is not walking with you in Hallstatt. 2. Even thought the village and the views are beautiful, think twice are you really willing to spend ~ 9 / 9,5 hours just driving.

It's an excursion that... - It is an excursion worth doing even though it is a little far from Vienna, although it does not weigh the road. Dasha's explanations, the guide, were very enjoyable. The only catch has been the contact of Info Tourist, a man who can not be more unsympathetic, nasty, rude and on top of it not even understood speaking English. Luckily he wasn't the guide.
