Tour notes Schönbrunn Palace - This tour included a drive through in Vienna before getting to Schönbrunn Palace. It’s a good idea to see the gardens before the tour of the inside of the palace

The castle is very beautiful. Although it was winter, he did visit it well. The weather was good. - Excellent tour choice, every time I took the trip by Trip Advisor I liked it. He doesn't disappoint. I used it in the U.S., Brazil and now in Europe.

Great tour, but not 100% English. - Safe and friendly tour guides and bus driver. Excellent stops. Perfect tour for a one day in Vienna for a first timer. The only reason they did not get five stars is because I had signed up to be on an English speaking tour and the tour guide was a native German speaker who split 2/3 of the trip speaking Spanish for the Spanish-speaking folks and only 1/3 of it in English so I missed an awful lot. I wish it would’ve said that it was both English and Spanish being spoken. I wouldn’t have chosen that.

Worth visiting if you are history lover but overrated! - Over rated tour and very crowded. Tour guide didn't even cover the garden areas and didn't provide time to walk yourself.

Nice, but... - I liked the combination of bus trip around Vienna before going to Schonbrunn but not enough time to see Schonbrunn Gardens. Also, combining two languages translation does not work.

We arrived before 915am... - We arrived before 915am but there is no one with signs or direction where to wait. Finally we found the tour guide. Tour was great and Chris was very knowledgeable and informative. You don’t have a lot of time after the tour before they leave on the bus so be aware of that as there literally stick to the time if your any minutes late you will be scolded. Also you don’t have much time to see anything else in the market. Otherwise the tour was good just the guides should have a little bit more patience.

Shrombunn Palace - I really enjoyed the Palace and looking around Shronbrunn. I think I would go without a guide if I went again because I think the tour/guide was more comfortable with an older audience.

NOT MY CUP OF TEA - Where do I begin? First the good news: The guide inside the palace was what a good guide might be telling the palace's centuries of history in 45 minutes. With all the chaos around brought about by 14k visitors (her info) she managed to do her best under the whirlwind circumstances. I have no complaints about the palace tour.
However, the bus tour guide/narrator going around historical places in Vienna was an elderly man who may know all of Vienna's history, but he narrates all that in a flat, low, monotonous voice that people sleep while touring. It is not an exaggeration. He might as well be praying because that is how he sounds. Moreover, he does not give clear instructions. Most (MOST) of us were NOT able to see the palace gardens because when we arrived at the palace, he said we have 45 if we want to use the bathroom or eat. He DID NOT say those 45 minutes included the garden self tour. So, there we were our group of 10 people thinking after the palace tour, there would be a guided garden tour by our guide decrepit as he was. Of course that did not happen!!!
I was upset and asked him before I got off the bus "Why is this called the palace and garden tour when most of us did not see the gardens?" He said the 45 minutes after we got off the bus was for the bathroom break AND the garden tour. Finding the bathrooms, paying 1 euro to use it, plus the lines to the bathroom... these can eat 45 minutes easy.
If you are to take this tour know that once you get off the bus, either you head for the bathroom and/or get a bite to eat or you do the garden. Your choice! Unless you have superhuman powers you cannot do both.
You would be better off buying a ticket by yourself and take all the time in both palace and garden. And oh, there is a bathroom right inside the palace's entrance and it is free. No need to pay one euro.
One last very important thing, be very, very sure where your bus is going to be parked and what it looks like because the bus parking lot is very confusing!
We did the tour in December 15, 2024. NOT FUNNY. May you have a better bus tour guide and may there be less people when you are there at the palace.

Confusing due to being provided in two languages at once - While my tour was booked for English, it is provided in both Spanish and English at the same time. I found this to be confusing. I do not feel that I got the tour I paid for. The dual language aspect was not indicated when I booked the tour. Since 1/2 the time was spent in a language other than English, I feel we got half the tour we paid for. I would not recommend this tour. Because the tour guide went back and forth between languages, there were times we were past the point of interest being discussed.
