Bring 2 Euro if you have a bag for the lockers. Book in advance. - Hadn't realised this was in Vienna so jumped at the chance to see it IRL. I booked the morning of (a Monday during term time) and I got a the first ticket available at 12.15. You can queue from 12.10 ready for next session. Bags in lockers - you need 2 Euro - there is a machine that can convert notes to coins. Crowds not too bag. 'The Kiss' is the busiest work by far. Note - some art - particularly on upper levels, you're not allowed to photograph. Didn't get audio tour as I was pushed for time but had a good hour there and felt like I got the most out of it.

Visit to Upper Belvedere - They will not be disappointed. Leave enough time to also walk the grounds and take in the full property

To see Klimt - Beautiful gardens and palace. We visited the Upper Belvedere as it is more interesting for the boys. Beautiful paintings by Klimt including The Kiss. I recommend buying tickets online as there is always a line.

Lovely evening of chamber music - Brilliant! Annakirche is a perfect venue for an evening of chamber music, written originally by Mozart and Beethoven for that church, which is a small, exquisite jewel.

Possibly my favourite ever art gallery so far (sorry London, Paris, Glasgow...) The Klimts are so full of beauty it is sometimes - Total delight - art, coffee, joy and friendliness. The paintings are just a joy- I found the gallery extremely well laid out and highly recommend doing in chronological order to see the roots of the secessionists way back in early period religious art. Every label tells a story in a succinct and clear way - its very easy to engage with the history, stories and techniques. I won't try and describe the Klimts as you have to go, pause draw breath and breathe in. Highly recommend staying until near closing - we had the room with the Kiss all to ourselves at 6.30. Also a word to the cafe inside upper belvedere - possibly the friendliest service I have had in a long time (thank you for the cheeky extra hot chocolate 'shot' ❤️ ) A wonderful experience

Go, but pack a lunch! - The experience was lovely. It was a nice surprise to realise under-18s got in for free, however I do feel the adult fee was a bit too expensive, especially for the upper and lower Belvedere. You could spent hours and hours in the museum and the range of art is beautiful and the interior is a work of art in itself. My one recommendation is to bring a packed lunch or have lunch nearby. I found both cafes lacking and expensive. The gardens were also worth the trip - so beautiful and peaceful.

Must-see visit to the centre of Vienna - The place is very beautiful, the collection interesting. Klimt’s kiss is the highlight of the visit but there are other works to see

Upper and Lower Museum - The gardens within the museum grounds are beautiful to stroll through and add to the overall experience. We toured both museums, starting with the upper museum, which spans two floors. It featured a stunning Klimt piece, along with works from other well-known artists , though I won’t give away too many spoilers. I was also blown away by the architecture and interior design of the building, with its elegant moldings and striking columns that felt like works of art themselves. The lower museum was equally beautiful in its own way. However, the modern art showcased there wasn’t quite my personal preference, I found myself drawn more to the timeless, classic pieces that felt more aligned with my taste.

The lights - Place where you appreciate the beautiful and rich in culture, but I have a strong complaint. The lights obscure the paintings and make them unwatchable.
