Easy alternative to the bad Belvedere ticket purchase site. - The Tripadvisor solution works perfectly, and the ticket enters directly (no need to change). The Belvedere ticket purchase website is very bad, the card system does not process Brazilian cards very well and closes all the time. You can buy with confidence here. The place (museum) is interesting and perfect to visit with the family!

Incredible - Just beautiful. Almost all of the major painters/painting had audioguide, which made the whole experience incredible.

To visit for Klimt's site and kiss - Must-see! A beautiful park to cross and we find ourselves facing the Belvedere Palace (top part). A very beautiful collection of paintings, including the famous "Kiss" by Klimt and one of the few portraits created by Monnet (Alsatian cuisine)

Exceeded my expectations, fabulous art museum in a beautiful building - Great exhibition with useful explanatory panels in each room. Beautiful ornate building and rooms in which the paintings and sculptures are displayed. Loved the storytelling of The Bride and the display of sketches from Klimt’s sketchbook. Enjoyed the amusing head sculptures by Messerschmidt. Surrounded by beautiful expansive gardens.

Beautiful Museum with a Cultural Highlight - The Belvedere Palace in Vienna is a stunning Baroque masterpiece set in lush formal gardens, offering both architectural splendor and an exceptional art. Inside the Upper Belvedere, you’ll find the world’s largest collection of Gustav Klimt paintings—and, of course, his iconic masterpiece The Kiss. An unforgettable museum experience!

Pity about the gardens - Have been to the Belvedere many times. Used to have beautiful formal gardens but we found on this latest visits; Unkempt and untrimmed box hedges. Some box hedges being replaced with flower beds which is pretty but lacks the original formality. Many fountains not working and empty. Probably cost saving is to blame but, as one of Vienna’s main attractions, the Belvedere deserves better.

Beautiful Palace art museum worth a visit - We visited both the Upper and Lower Belvedere. The upper is a beautiful old palace full of amazing works of art, including Klimt's 'The Kiss'. You can spend few hours in there looking around. The lower palace is also an art museum but with a different selection of art, as well as a really great cafe and a tempory exhibit space. We bought the Vienna PASS which allowed free access into both places.

Beautiful building and gardens - We spent a very pleasant 2 hours wondering through the gardens and the palace (Upper Belvedere only*). It is essentially an art gallery and sadly no furniture etc from the appropriate era is on show inside the palace. I am not a huge art enthusiast so I glided through the rooms fairly swiftly, although I did enjoy the Gustav Klimt section. From the second storey, you get a great view of the gardens and I took plenty of photos. We had a coffee and Sacher torte in the outside café near the Botanical gardens which was lovely (excellent staff). Well worth a couple of hours of your city break.

Somewhat Disappointing - Much of lower Belvedere is closed, the ticket office did not inform us, it is not worth purchasing the lower experience if half of the lower palace is closed. Very disappointed. Upper Belvedere is a good experience, allow 1-1.5 hrs to visit.
