Vienna Pass recommended - Vienna over the Easter weekend, certainly not cheap, but you pay for the expense, including attractions and activities. Perhaps a little attention to be paid during periods of greater influx of people, the hop on and hop off buses are slow, full and maybe you are forced to move to Vienna with other methods. But certainly great solution to visit most of the fabulous attractions in Vienn. Recommended really

Vienna sights - It's good for a 2 day visit to see the main sights. No problem with entrance to the sights. Bus staff could have called out the next stop which would have been useful. Little guide useful in deciding which route to take. Bus stops not clearly signposted. Expensive but useful up to a point.

So many beautiful things and monuments to visit that you would have to leave 2 weeks. Reception of average Austrians - The Vienna Pass does not give access to everything! We were very disappointed to see that we were (very) limited in visiting Schönbrunn Castle. We couldn't do the Spanish riding school. Lots of places where you had to book beforehand without knowing!

Always expires at 0:00h - It is a warning. The Vienna pass does not last 24h since you first use it. It is per day, that is, if you spend it at 8 am, for example, it lasts until 0:00 am. If you use it at 18h, it lasts until 0:00h. Considering that museums and places of interest close around 6pm, it is necessary to analyze well whether it compensates to buy it

Expensive. After sales service, charge at least. - Not advised. Does not compensate: Schönbrunn Palace doesn’t let you get a good look, you basically go with a “low-grade” pass. The cost for 6 days 178 euros, and considering that they close at 18:00 most places (some no longer let you enter from 17:00,). There are two important details to keep in mind: Attractions are not worth the cost of what they have. They're very overrated. And they want to charge you for everything even paying for this. The cathedral for example does not enter, with the vienna Pass (and without it) you are given to see it from afar through a gate. I've accounted for what I've seen in 5 days, doing an average of 15km a day walking, so we haven't wasted time, and I've lost money. Another detail: the nefarious after-sales service, they want to charge you for everything however small the matter. He advised not to go to Vienna. Anything there becomes a museum and they want to charge you 20 euros to enter, but if you go, the pass is discouraged.

A scam - This is a scam. We were instructed to pick up tickets at a specified address. Went there but could not find the office at that location. Phone was not answering. The next day we called and told to send an e-mail for refund. It has been a month and no answer to several e-mails. We paid $700 for 4 people and lost the money!

Run away. PASS very expensive. - Run away. PASS very expensive and only entitles to basic formulas. In addition, you still have to queue: at the Spanish school or at Schönbru Castle . No help from the sellers. A shame never seen before.

Lack of consideration. - We took a pass for 3 days. When we went to the office on Friday afternoon to redeem our voucher for a physical card, the attendee asked us if we would like the pass activated since Saturday morning. We said yes because our activities were scheduled for the next day. The cards did have the end date indicated in these conditions. The attendee told us that it was necessary to reserve the visit slot for certain activities such as the Spanish Riding School and the Château schonbrunn. So we went to the riding school to make arrangements for our next day visit (reservation), which was a great way to present our Vienna pass to them. We had to walk from point to point because buses are not very frequent and we were not lucky enough to find one! Well, that made us feel good! The third day of the pass (Monday), date indicated on the card, at the entrance of the apartments of Sisi, unpleasant surprise because our pass was no longer valid! Back to the Vienna office pass or someone different from Friday told us that booking a visit slot on Friday activated the pass and we lost a whole day! “No, I can’t help you because it’s well written on the small letters about the terms of use... blah blah”. But her colleague told us to do it like that and we followed her instructions! They can follow all our trips and visits and have seen that no visits were made on Friday! So, summary of a bad experience, we paid 3 days and were allowed 2 without any understanding on their part.

NEVER IN WINTER! / NEVER IN WINTER - Don't buy it if you go in winter! Half of the attractions closed and the frequency of the buses is hourly and do not come times do not know how long you will have to wait!! Muggy we couldn't use a bus in 3 days pass. They do not advise that many attractions are closed or the exact direction of the stops. An absolute disaster in the end we moved only with Uber or metro.
