• Operngasse 4 - The tour kicks off at Operngasse 4, adjacent to Albertinaplatz, a significant square in the heart of Vienna’s inner city. Here, participants will receive audio instructions for the virtual reality experience, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey.
• Heldenplatz - The first of four virtual reality stops is at Heldenplatz, or Heroes’ Square, where the entrance to Hofburg Palace is located. Through virtual reality, participants will travel back in time to meet three of Vienna’s most influential leaders: two generals and an empress.
• Maria Theresien Square - Situated in front of Heldenplatz is the stunning Maria Theresien Square, home to the impressive monument of this powerful ruler. The audio guide and virtual reality experience will introduce her and share her remarkable story.
• Rathaus - Among the most significant buildings along the Ringstraße is Vienna’s City Hall. Although the mayor won’t be met on this bus tour, participants will learn about another notable figure whose office was nearby and whose favorite café was just across the street.
• Ringstrasse - The bus tour offers a chance to explore some of Vienna’s most important buildings, churches, and monuments, many of which are located along the famous Ring Road, a central part of the tour. Notable buildings include the Vienna State Opera, the Parliament, Vienna’s City Hall, the University of Vienna, and more!
