Additional Information
  • Guests must spend the night to tour the Bioluminescent Bay of Vieques (Puerto Mosquito); no transportation back to the main island after 6 pm.
  • The tour is recommended on a moonless night for the best experience.
  • Kayaks have a weight limit of 500 pounds.
  • Minimum age requirement for the tour is 5 years old.

After completing the reservation, you must notify us 24 hours before your tour to receive a full refund in case of cancellation. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the tour, the full charge for the activity will apply. However, if we cancel the activity, you will receive a full refund.

Wonderful tour!! The staff were very organized, very friendly, and did a great job getting everyone where they needed to be. The equipment was in good repair and the clear kayaks were a total must have to get the full experience of the bay. We were so happy we picked this tour company—we saw a lot of other companies out there who were definitely not up the the standard that Aqua Sunset provided.

Our bio bay experience was amazing! Jimmy was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He loves his job and it shows, and that makes it an even better experience when he is engaged with his participants and shares so much knowledge with all of us. He answered every question and was so knowledgeable! This tour provided a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend it to anyone who will be in Vieques. Even my mother-in-law, who gets motion sickness very easily, said that the bumpy road wasn’t as bad as she had anticipated. Our driver was amazing, she took the bumps slowly and it was much appreciated! I can’t remember her name, but she was great! We went on the 7:05pm Friday 3/28 tour. Thank you so much!

My expectations were high for this experience and they were absolutely exceeded!!! Our guide Jimmy was amazing- kind, funny, patient, and full of interesting information. The bay is magical. We were there on a moonless but windy night and it was something I will remember forever.
