- Spiaggia del Pizzomunno - Upon reaching Vieste, you can marvel at the impressive white limestone monolith, approximately 25 meters tall, called Pizzomunno. According to local folklore, Pizzomunno was a young fisherman in love with a girl named Cristalda. The mermaids, envious of their love, abducted Cristalda, and in his sorrow, Pizzomunno turned into stone, becoming the monolith seen today.
- Spiaggia di Portonuovo - Heading further south, you will arrive at Spiaggia di Portonuovo, a serene stretch of fine sand about 1,500 meters long, with a gently sloping seabed, perfect for families with children. From the beach, you can admire the islet of Portonuovo, affectionately called “the whale” due to its unique shape.
- Spiaggia Baia Di Campi - Continuing the voyage, you will reach Baia dei Campi, situated about 10 km south of Vieste. This bay is enveloped by a Mediterranean landscape with Aleppo pines and features a 500-meter-long pebble beach with a deep seabed. At the heart of the bay are two islets, making it a favored spot for scuba diving enthusiasts.
- Portogreco - The next stop is the Bay of Portogreco, a small natural “harbor” nestled in the Mediterranean scrub. It is accessible via a 400-meter path leading to a stunning untouched pebble beach, surrounded by towering cliffs that plunge into the sea.
- Pugnochiuso - Finally, you will arrive at Pugnochiuso, a renowned tourist destination located on the coast between Vieste and Mattinata. The resort boasts two adjacent bays, the bay of Pugnochiuso and the bay of Portopiatto, with pebble beaches and crystal-clear waters, set within the Gargano National Park.
