- Mekong Delta - Your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin the journey southwest of Saigon to the Mekong Delta, known as the heart of the entire region. Along the way, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a Buddhist site with ancient bronze statues and a rich colonial history. Take a moment by the banks of the Tien River, the northern artery of the Mekong River.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River to a workshop where handmade crafts and sweets are created from coconuts. A brief horse carriage ride will take you to a nearby orchard, where you can taste homemade honey tea, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, and experience “Don Ca Tai Tu” - the traditional live music of the Mekong people.
After lunch, take a relaxing drive in an electric car through the countryside, absorbing the rural atmosphere as you pass by small villages and farms. In the mid-afternoon, return to the boat and cruise along the canals until you reach the location where you will rejoin your tour vehicle. Arrive back in Saigon around 5 PM. Tour concludes.
